Carre Me Couture Not only has a gorgeous line of custom designed couture dresses and couture casual wear, but her off-site Production Team of Seamstresses are extremely talented. Client satisfaction and customer service are Carre’s number one priority— and she delivers White glove service! I am from St. Louis, Missouri amd came upon Carre’s store on a May 2018 trip when in Palm Beach with my husband for business. I commissioned Carre to make my “mother of the groom” dress for my son’s wedding which was last weekend (8/25/18) in Chicago. When I received my dress in Saint Louis, It was packaged with care and fit nearly perfectly! I had a minor alteration that I called Carre to ask if she would mind doing— and she bent over backwards to accommodate me! I was so thrilled with the final outcome of the Mother of the Groom dress, that I commissioned Carre to make a bolero jacket to match! I later commission Carrie to make a rehearsal dinner dress and a “Meet and Greet” pre-wedding dinner event dress— all from the comfort of my home in St. Louis without even hopping on a plane to go to Florida! Having my measurements from the mother of the groom dress, and knowing the alterations that I had needed from that dress, my other dresses were made to measure… And fit perfectly upon arrival! They were STUNNING! These dresses are one of a kind— and you will be a showstopper at any event you go to wearing one of her dresses! I wore mine to a black tie event and wedding, and have received countless compliments! I was so happy with the purchase of these three dresses, that I then commissioned Carre to make three additional short dresses and three additional long dresses— one a black tie dress, and the others are cocktail dresses. It was so fun to get on the phone with Carre when the dresses arrived—- as she wanted to know how I felt about each dress and if I was happy with the fit— as her dresses come with a personal satisfaction guarantee! Carre is incredible to work with— she takes great pride in her designs and in her customer service! Note: as for the two 1 Star reviews below written by K Munich and her sister? Take it from me… There’s something askew with their review. (1) Who receives a dress in February and later writes a negative review seven months later without communicating about the dress upon receipt in February? (2) Based upon my experiences, I am sure Carre offered several solutions to make them happy. (3) my suggestion to those two reviewers is that they should accept the service Carrie is willing to provide them. If I could give this shop negative stars I would. It costs 0$ to be a kind and decent person but clearly that has not been made clear to Carrie herself. I walked in and immediately was greeting by a drone "Can I help you". Miss Carrie seemed like she couldn't care less about what I needed or why I was in the store. Knowing what a long day of work feels like and understanding the tribulations that can unexpectedly arise in ones life, I shrugged it off and just assumed she was just having a long day. I made my way around the racks politely and carefully making sure I didn't move or touch too many of miss carrie's mediocre dresses. She stalked me as I walked around the awkwardly quiet boutique. Not once, but three times, she asked me if I needed help while watching my every move. I should've taken this as a sign for the epic disrespect that soon followed. Once more miss Carrie approached me and this time annoyance plagued her question, "Can I help you" I quickly responded with "I'm just trying to decide whether this style would be good for..." and she proceeded to quickly interrupt me and scoff, "good ?!" As if I had just questioned her whole clothing line. "...for a prom-esque type of event." I finished, very much stunned by how quickly the situation had escalated. "I don't sell my dresses for proms, and they are very very expensive so..." I was flabbergasted, first and foremost the money was no issue. I could have bought the whole store and converted it if I wanted to. And second, I completely understand that miss Carrie has the right to refuse service to whomever she chooses but to suggest her dresses are too good for such a "juvenile event" is actually funny. Miss carrie's attitude and mannerisms screamed "child-like", can't blame me for getting confused. Anyways, the interaction was very dismissive so I thanked her and left the store. Been a very happy client for over 8 years. I saw the negative reviews and decided that these unhappy people are simply not being fair or realistic. Carrie is very creative and takes pride in making sure that every piece she makes for you is perfect and that you are happy. If there is ever a problem (nothing is always perfect all the time) she is quick to fix it and ensure you are happy, even if it means making it over again 2 or 3 times. Her work is unique and every time I wear one of her outfits, everyone wants to know where I got that, and who is the designer. Given that her store is located in the high rent district of Worth Ave in Palm Beach, her prices are very reasonable. I have frequently purchased outfits double or triple the price -yet her work is of the same quality. As with any artistic designer, you have to try on the clothes to understand the quality and fit of her work. Window shopping is not going to give you the right impression or sense of what you are looking at. I have had her make me everything from basic work suits, to fancy suits, to gowns, to just throw on something fantastic and go outfits. Go see...
