Target — Local services in Palm Desert

I will NEVER shop at this Target again. EVER. I had two very negative experiences from their employees which has colored my perception of the store.

I am 70 years old and expect to be treated with a modicum of respect from the 20 somethings. I have earned that right.

The first occasion at this store involved a twenty something working in electronics. I needed a new charger for my Samson watch and after checking online and finding that Target carried these chargers, I went into this store to puchase one. When I asked a store employee about the charger, I was informed they only carry apple accessories. When I tried to explain about the online search results, he rudely responded that Target does not carry Samsung products, which I find hard to believe, and he walked away.

So I looked for another store employee. It took a while and when I finally found one, I said, "excuse me, may I ask you a quesion?" Not looking up from his phone, he replied, "No." I was stunned and thought I must have heard him incorrectly so I again asked him if I could ask him a question. To which he responded "I said no".

I was speechless and so mad that I left my cart full of gifts and walked straight out of the door. I was afraid that if I opened my mouth I would, I would say something I might regret.

I realize that to Target the little bit of lost income means nothing to them, but to me on a fixed income, it means a lot. Whether it is $10 or $1000, I deserve better...

I love this target! They have everything you could possibly need. This target is neat and organized and you can always find what you need in an instant.

They have great staff that are always too caring. They are never afraid to ask you if you need help or lend a hand to work anything out. They will always ask how my day was a check out!

They also have a starbucks at the start of the store. It has all the options and the employees always have good recommendations. They sometimes write little notes that always make you feel welcome! They make the drinks in fast time and give great service.

This target also decorates for every holiday and makes it fun and festive! They have a section for the season too! Like easter section with candy and decor also Christmas blowups and stocking presents! They are always prepared for whatever you need!

They also have the best return policy and will help you with any problems you have with it. This target has made my shopping easier and more fun! That is why I 100% recommend...

The worst, rudest target I've ever been to that was so bad I'll never step foot in any target ever again. During Black Friday we were about to finish self checkout but had to call over help to take away a product we scanned but didn't want. We turned on the "ask for assistance" light and we stood there for about 10 minutes and no one helped us or even noticed we needed assistance. We even asked 2 sales associates who were doing checkouts and said "someone will be there" but I didn't see them call anyone or do anything besides continuing to checkout their customers. Eventually someone came over and didn't even apologize for the long wait, multiple customers at that point had already finished checking out who were behind us in line. The man was rude and just said "we are busy" when I mentioned why there was NO EMPLOYEE MONITORING THE SELF CHECKOUT. No apology, just glared at me and made me feel like it was my fault for disturbing him when all he was doing was just standing behind and talking to his colleuge....
