Sunshine Nails & Spa - WPB — Local services in Palm Springs

Made a same-day appointment on Saturday that was available online. I walk in, and they ask me for my appointment information. It's same-day, so I figured they probably didn't see it, and give them the information. Owner then proceeds to complain about online appointments to a client right in front of me. I got a Mani/Pedi, which in itself was alright, but the only small talk was upsell. They tried to upsell me countless (genuinely, like 5+) times on the gel, which I didn't want at all. Owner apologized to me about her behavior, but gave me a loyalty card, so I took it as more saving face than genuine apology. Was going to not write a review at all because everyone has bad days. Not even 3 days later, the polish on 3 of my nails is heavily chipped off, and 5 nails have large cracks with substantial pieces beginning to peel off. I expected total lack of professionalism and customer service after looking at the owner's other response to the last 1-star review, but calling me a liar (I'm sorry- "untruthful")...

This was such a pleasant experience. I love that the place is quaint and simple with brightness and nice crisp furniture. It’s not crowded and it’s small enough where it is best you make an appointment and you don’t have to wait. If you ask you shall receive. I wanted my foot to soak for a while and there was no rush, you really got the attention on your service. I had my first experience there yesterday with my sister. We both got the hot stone pedicure and we both absolutely loved our entire experience. Yes the prices are nice and economy friendly but that's just a perk. These ladies and gentleman were very warm, friendly, and inviting from the moment we walked in. The entire process was so relaxing and calming, I honestly forgot I was a mom for a moment 😂.
