The store is very clean. However, it is SERIOUSLY understaffed! Itās like a ghost town when you need someone to help you. I went here to get my daughter a dress for her birthday. She tried on 3 dresses, and chose one. We went to the cashier and asked her if she could hold it for us while we kept looking. She told me to hang it on the rack behind the register. I did and we left to look at other stores. We returned after an hour and went straight to the rack. It was no longer hanging there. š¤¦āāļøš We then started the long, long process of looking all over the entire floor for the dress. The cashier was no longer at that register. She had moved to another one. There was at least 5 people waiting in line. I didnāt want to cut in front of anyone or be rude, but I couldnāt see anyone else working in the store. I waited several minutes and then asked about the dress. She said she had left it right there where I had put it. Clearly someone had taken it. I began looking for another person who worked there. I finally found a guy who said that she should have put it behind the register where she was currently working. Two other associates came to the register and left! Even with all those people waiting in line, they just left and left their coworker to take care of everyone. The process is very slow at Macys! It seems like each customer takes at least 10-15 minutes! At that rate we would be in line for about 45 minutes to an hour! I saw another associate on her phone and asked her if she could help us. She checked the system and said that it was still in the store. So now we can continue looking. Great! š© She told us to look in the dressing rooms. Sure enough, there it was, still in one of the dressing rooms because no one is cleaning them out because they are SO understaffed!!! Now itās been almost an hour since we got back to the store and there are still at least 5-7 people in the line! 𤬠I went over to the āBackstageā counter. There was only one person, but unfortunately she had about 20 pieces of clothing, and like I said, their system is SO SLOW!!! So I ended up standing in that line, with only one person ahead of me, for 20 minutes! 𤯠By the time I left, the other line still had one person in it. This REALLY makes me want to cut up my Macys cc and only shop at stores that actually properly staff their stores! Get your act together Macyās! This was...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDear Macy's Customer Service Team,
I am reaching out to express my concerns following a series of unfortunate events that have led me to question the quality of your customer service and the professionalism of one of your managers. In August 2023, I made a purchase in advance which, after five months, had still not been delivered to me. Faced with this situation, I sought assistance at your store, where I was forced to wait 45 minutes before I could speak with an operations or floor manager.
Regrettably, my encounter with the manager, who identified herself as MILEIDA,, not only failed to resolve my dilemma but was also a negative experience. Her behavior was rude, impolite, and completely lacking in professionalism. She showed no interest in resolving the issue or in issuing an apology for the delay and inconvenience caused and, inappropriately, withdrew from the conversation without offering a solution.
Moreover, I had to endure an excessively long wait to process the return of my funds to my credit card. As a Macy's customer, I believe a manager's salary is justified by their ability to provide exceptional service, which in this case was non-existent.
However, I would like to commend the attitude and efforts of your store associate, Susan, who demonstrated a superior level of courtesy and commitment to assisting me during this unpleasant incident. My intention in writing this email is to suggest that additional training in management and customer service be provided to MILEIDA, as her conduct does not reflect the standards I expect from Macy's. This experience has led me to consider the possibility of posting a negative review about your establishment, particularly the branch at The Fall.
Therefore, I urge the store manager to pay special attention and take the necessary steps to ensure that customer treatment by the managers and staff is always professional and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went with my fiance and soon to be mother-in-law this past weekend to purchase some fine jewelry, and we had the best experience with Kristen. I would highly recommend buying from this Macy's.
We arrived, looked at rings, and got a little worried as we didn't see too many associates. But when I approached Kristen as she was ringing someone up, she told us she'd be with us as soon as she finished with the other customer. And I'm glad we bought from her because she was an absolute sweetheart.
Kristen took her time to talk to us, to see what we wanted, and even asked about our love story. She did not rush us through the process at all as we looked over the jewelry and asked about prices. She guided us with the best sales. We thought the price and quality of the rings at Macy's were incredible, but it only got better. By buying it with Kristen, she was able to give us 12 months with no interest on our purchase!
I couldn't thank her enough for being so kind to me and my family. Kristen's service is like a meal in Italy, it shouldn't be rushed because she's cooking perfection; and when it's done, it nourishes the soul. I very much appreciate that because everywhere else it feels like customers are treated as numbers or a bother unless they look like they're wealthy. I did not feel that with Kristen at all. I felt she treated us with kindness and decency, regardless of what we could afford, and helped us make the best decision for us.
I'd very happily make future purchases with Kristen at the jewelry counter at Macy's. She educated us on things we didn't know like sizing and quality of certain material combinations. And I invite you to do the same if you're willing to...
