Discount Tire — Local services in Palmhurst

Today I visited Discount Tires to purchase and install 4 tires on my SUV. Although there were a few customers ahead of me I have to say the representatives did a good and fast one. I believe my wait time before reaching the counter was about 3 minutes. I was amazed. Usually you go to other places and it just takes too long to get taken care or one guys is taking care of so many people the customer service is lost in the middle of it, but I am here to talk about the good quality customer service I received today. The gentleman who took care of me gave different options for tires and never pressure me to make a decision. He also offered me the extended warranty, but I declined it. I felt the Pirelli choice was the best within my budget and didn't believe the extended warranty was necessary. He did showed me the benefits of the extended way, but even after that I chose not to go with it. Then it was waiting time. Yes, there was some waiting time, but the place was pretty comfortable to wait. I am attaching some photographs for your review. After approximately 2.5 chapters of The House of the Spirits by Isabel Allende I saw how my SUV was making its way to the shop for service. Even though Discount Tires always kept me informed via text message as to what was going on with my truck and when was done, I decided to sit near the window and enjoy the show. I normally don’t leave bad reviews. But I am very disappointed with this location. I’ve been going to discount tires for years but specially went here because not all locations offer alignment services. They gave my car an inaccurate diagnostics test saying I needed to get some bolts replaced even though my car doesn’t originally come with them. I took it to another shop for a second opinion and sure enough. Discount was wrong and they still charged me for the alignment service even though they didn’t do it that same day. Told me I had to take it back within 30 days or so. I went back in yesterday to get refunded my money and the manager or whoever I spoke to wasn't the most helpful. He kept laughing it off and saying how the other shop basically scammed me. I thought it was very unprofessional of him to say that. More than fair - OUTSTANDING! I went in with a question about mounting a full set of tires, which I have. Their professionalism shown, Nick explained in laymen's terms why I really didn't want to do what I was considering. He emphasized the disregard of safety where I to proceed. I explained that I am soon making a 2000 Mile drive and I won't be purchasing, from them, a needed tire and rim. I will be buying used. I do have an in use tire that needs repair. Regardless of any purchases I made here, or not, her offered to repair my in use tire at no cost.

I will happily return to here and have them mount, balance etc, the tire and rim I purchase elsewhere, and pay for it. A...
