Taco Rico — Restaurant in Palmhurst

May 21, 2025 at about 6:20pm: I had called 20 minutes earlier to place an order over the phone for pickup. I get there and the floor crew and cooks are very busy. The cashier, whom I assume was the manager, the only one wearing a maroon shirt, was talking to a "friend" of hers who was in front of me. The convo, which had to do with the managers life, lasted close to 10 minutes. The other employees kept staring at her and me because they could tell I was upset but she kept on talking to her friend. Even after seeing me standing there waiting. I was very upset, needless to say. Eventually, the "friend" saw me waiting and cut the convo short. That's when the maroon shifted lady started barking orders at the employees as if they weren't doing their jobs. Very unprofessional conduct. The lady wasn't wearing a name tag but she wore glasses, about 55 years of age give or take and was the only one in a maroon shirt. Thier service is usually top notch like their food. But that day, that lady ruined my experience along with the people lined up behind me. Management, please...

Taco Rico has always been very well known for it's great Mexican food and very well served, and that is why when my family wants good Mexican food we choose taco rico. I'm not sure if this business is under new administration, but when we order a menudo chico they had always served it with tortillas and very well served! Today as per the person in charge 2-16-19 if I wanted tortillas I had to order the large menudo, which did not make sense, at least to me and my family who have always order a menudo chico with tortillas no extra charge in this location. I certainly did not asked to give me a free "entrada de menudo" and a "free tortilla (1). I ordered something and did asked why we weren't charged the menudo she just said "the order is made". So we did not get what we ordered, and willing to pay for what we wanted. Thanks for the gesture of not charging the "entrada de menudo" and the tortilla. But that is definitely not what we order. My daughter went to the Palmhurst location. She order 2 Combos one taco pirata combo and a corn combo tacos. The ladies are her how she want her papa and what drink with each order. When she got to the window the guy they said it was only one order and one combo. She went inside and they wanted to charge another potato and drink. I call the manager because i was on the phone with my daughter all this time and was hearing everything. I talk to the manager and she was so rude and unprofessional. She didn’t let me talk and then hang up. This happen on September 20 at 7:30pm. I will never go back to that place and will tell all my family and friends never to go back to that place.
