It was a Christmas dinner to remember.. but had we forgotten our blessings it could have very quickly gone south. A wonderful experience with my family but had absolutely nothing to do with this establishement. The staff and the food were a horrible disservice. There were numerous empty dishes.. the sushi bar also empty was no where near clean nor close to health standard. Plates were few and far between and unless you wanted chopsticks you got a horrible plastic fork. The staff was not friendly.. the meal was not special but the price was raised in the name of Christmas. Busboys rode the cart through the establishment as if running from the spirit of Christmas. The tables were dirty and the seat damp and ragged. our waitress verbally strong armed and humiliated a hard working father in front of his two daughters for additional tip money. He had saved and paid for dinner with a gift card. It was given to him and he saved it to use it on his family. It's all he had. This was the first Christmas in nearly two decades I've not been well enough to cook. Despite only coming back to our table ONCE to make her job easier.. never mind attempting to take care of her customer.. our check was almost $80 for three adults and a child). He tipped her the remaining balance on the card. She was not only rude about it but very ungrateful. She said "only a few dollars on Christmas?" Not caring or trying to understanding the true meaning or being grateful for anything she was given. The reason and love shined again when without missing a heart felt beat.. my daughters smile at their father and said " don't worry daddy we got the tip." Again the true meaning To be treated with such nonchalant service and disappoint on Christmas could have been heartbreaking. Yes it was disappointing but because the season is about way more than sad ungrateful rude people.. we simply enjoyed each other's company rather than focusing on terrible food and horrible service. Not letting this establishement or it's poor service ruin our Christmas spirit. Despite leaving a restaurant hungry. Our spirits were fed by remember what the Christmas season is...
Read moreI don't usually give bad reviews but today Jin Jin earned this one. I'll try and keep it short and sweet because I can't fit it in text.
Extremely unorganized staff. Rude. Disgusting rotten fish. Made us wait in the dining area because they got us mixed up with the party that came in before us and tried to sit us all together. Told us to just wait here, here being middle of dining area with people just eating looking at us like what's going on. We stood here in awe for like 5 minutes before pretty much going and getting someone and telling them where we were going to sit. This should have been our first red flag.
Demanded everyone of the party paid when most of the party took 2 bites and was disgusted They threatened to call the cops and made a scene, without a fuss I paid for mine because I ate a plate but when someone brings crawfish to their plate and it's rotten they just don't eat anything else. Other member paid extra for the crab legs that were awful. All of their food was also disgusting, wouldn't take anything off when they only ate 2 of 8 crab legs. Management wanted to just force you to pay and made multiple excuses as to why we had to pay for disgusting food. Went as far as looking through our plates and trying to tally up what we ate like what the heck 😂.. Basically if you accept to sit down and eat food you are paying even if you are disgusted and don't touch a thing.
One member of our party refused to pay after their second bite was rotten fish. Went to walk out and the manager literally grabbed her by the arm yelling, making a scene. Threatened to call the cops on us and everything and called us nasty people because we said their food was rotten.
I tried to be as polite as possible because I usually don't complain like this. But it went way beyond unnecessary and inappropriate behavior by this group.
Terribly sad because we've always loved coming to this place and have came every year for the past 4 years now, always bragging on this place. They remodeled the place and their attitudes.
I STRONGLY do not recommend...
Read moreWalked in this place at 8pm 2 hours before closing time. First impression wasn’t an impression at all, it was a strong stench of a smell coming from the dining room carpet. The host sat us at table with no communication at all, never asked if we would rather a booth instead. There’s no wonder he didn’t offer us a booth to sit because all the booth seats were torn and shredded. The Upholstery material was coming apart and literally pieces breaking apart. Our party of 3 all circled the buffet that night. Trying to find something that looked decent enough to put on our plate. We finally all got back to the table and realized the food wasn’t all that tasty or fresh. It was like the food on the buffet had been there for a while. Everyone of us agreed that our food was literally cold or lukewarm. Between the appearance of the food, the smell of the dining room, and the conditions of the food being cold we were all ready to just say to hell with this place, but we decided not to leave. I asked a woman standing behind the register if the were going to put some crab legs on the buffet because there wasn’t any there. She kind of shook her head and nodded ok I’ll put. Needles to say she brought back very little bits and pieces of crab legs which were cold as well. Frustrated and hungry we decided on trying the hibachi. Because all the meats were raw and I just wasn’t comfortable with this place by now I was very hesitant. Needless to say I was not happy with the hibachi either, but at least it was hot to eat. The person tending our table hovered over us like a hawk close by never to say one word. The bill that night was about $61 dollars that night for the 3 of us. I will never return to this place! This place is littered with stink as soon as you walk in. The booth seats are torn up so bad I wouldn’t sit on them. The people running the place are not customer friendly at all. Truthfully it’s a wonder why this place is still open for business. 3 thumbs down on this place. Do not even think of waisting you time or your...
