First off, I lived at these apartments for a year and 9 months and the price jumped from about 1100 a month to nearly 1600 a month for a two bed, two bath. We also attempted for over a month to get paid parking.
They first told us they were "auditing" their parking spots but that it would be 25 a month per parking spot. Then they claimed that they couldn't give us more than one parking spot. Finally, they said that one paid parking spot was 50 a month. We told them to forget it...
Secondly, the maintenance is nearly non-existent along with workers keeping up with the grounds. For the price they are expecting tenants to pay, maintenance and grounds upkeep should be 1000% better than it is.
We called maintenance twice. The first time was for flooding that occurred because the tenants above us used their garbage disposal to get rid of noodles and rice which caused a major clog that led to smelly water flooding into our apartment. Maintenance was quick to assist but did absolutely nothing to help with the smell, nor did they check for water damage on the floor or walls.
The second time we called for maintenence was for our closet rod falling down and they didn't fix it for over a week. And the same rod fell again less than two weeks after it was supposedly fixed.. So we didn't call to have them fix it AGAIN since we were planning to move out in a few months anyhow. (They are now charging us extra for drywall damages pertaining to their shoddy work from the first time the rod fell....)
Apartment buildings B, C, & D all share one dumpster that is constantly overflowing. Instead of fixing the problem, they send out emails reminding residents to use other dumpsters that are "nearby." Which they are most definitely not "nearby." There use to be a dumpster for building B & C to share but since it is near the entrance of the apartment complex, they deemed it an "eye sore" and removed it to make the area a parking spot instead....
Lastly, they are charging us an extra $596 on top of the $600 deposit for damage to the sticker floor they use in the apartments. The damage? One spot where our couch had dug into the cheap flooring. So because it is the cheap sticker flooring, they must redo the whole floor to repair one spot. The price for this? Over $1,000.00.
You've been warned, stay clear of this place. Sure, the pool, gym, & dog park sound nice but they are just an image to cover up for how insanely overpriced and unreasonable this...
Read moreI wouldn't even give this place a star. WARNING for anyone who wants to move in here be fore warned. If you want to see the police, ambulances & fire trucks there for domestic abuse, drugs and violence than move there. They can't keep the same people there at the office we had all 3 quite at the same time. Then tenants come and go. The trash is all over along with dog poop. One time there was a loud noise & a lot of neighbors came out to see if it was a gun shot or something else but a ambulance and police cars had there sirens on. Maintenance is a joke I fell down their steps no railing & the didn't even help on bills. My husband had to shovel one day the steps and behind his car. He has a lot of heart problems & his cardiologist said he is not supposes to do that. I had my own washer and dryer which I complained about my dryer not drying & I kept calling the mgmt 2 months later I called again &they came out & dug all the lent and a birds nest that was stuck in there. It could of caused a fire. Then when they knew that we were moving out I told them my air conditioner wasn't working. I called for 2 days and left voice mail also. I had to go with my breathing machine in the club house where it was cool to do a treatment. The mgr said stay as long as you want until I fell and my nails were blue. She called an ambulance & told me they would write it off since I was concerned about the bill. Wrong Kim they couldn't wave it so that was a $700.00 ride to ER . When I was going on the stretcher my husband said the maintenance was now going to our apt but they had to get a professional because one of the fans were broke which explains our $200.00 and high bills for a cold apt. Oh and also we lived at the bottom where the air conditioning water drain plug and flooded that area with water.I found out the tenant before us had some flooding there too. So apartment hunters beware and spread the word...
Read moreIf you're wondering why there are 5/5 star reviews about 2 months ago, it's because they were bribing the residents for giving ratings in hopes of winning free things (i.e. new speakers). The amount they price the apartments at versus the actual quality of the apartments is a total joke. There is a reason why they have a lot of available apartments to rent compared to other facilities.. Initially when I moved in I was told that utilities such as trash, water, etc. were included in the rent. Literally 5 months later I start seeing an extra 70$ being charged, and upon calling them they informed me that whoever started my process forgot to put those additional charges in, even though I had told them that I was informed it was included- they told me sorry and that was that. They also had given me mailbox keys that weren't even to my mailbox, didn't even look like the actual mailbox key. I heard a neighbor that went over a MONTH without AC in the month of May-June. They gave him a portable AC and kept giving him the run-around. Before moving out I had talked to at least 3-4 other different neighbors who all said they were moving because of the price. I've heard so many people complain about maintenence in the past. The quality of the apartments vs the "renovations" are terrible compared to the expensive price they want to charge. My floors were uneven under the carpet, the ceiling in one of the bedrooms was patched terribly and looked like it could fall through, my closet door was unable to shut because the door was uneven. I put in a work order for my hot water not working, as well as my toilet running. They called me 4 days later to check on it.. If they were to lower their prices it would be reasonable, but the quality is trash for the price. You would certainly be better off elsewhere. The one good thing I'll say, is that it is in a...
