I had my combo brows done by Sophia yesterday afternoon (10/3/25) and had an amazing experience (10/10 recommend her). This was my first time getting any permanent makeup done. Sophia was amazing. She is probably one of the most beautiful women I’ve ever seen in real life, and she is so sweet, down to earth, and funny. She really cares about her client’s happiness. Before we got started she spent a good amount of time mapping and drawing the eyebrows to a shape we both liked. She is very collaborative throughout that process and truly does a custom brow, rather than the blocky brows all over social media. The procedure itself was pretty quick. The shading portion doesn’t hurt at all, but the blading portion does cause some minor discomfort. The weirdest part is you can hear the cuts, but the painful part is very quick and so worth it in the end. After the procedure the brows looked very sharp, defined, dark, and swollen. I loved them immediately but it was shocking to see such a drastic change. Sophia explained that they will continue to darken for a couple days and then start to lighten and soften. I can attest that on day two, they are darker but the swelling has gone away so they look a lot more natural even with the darkness (I don’t know that everyone swells, I might be sensitive). She provided very thorough aftercare instructions and product recommendations (she doesn’t sell them in her office or get kickbacks for recommending) and they are very clean products, which I appreciate. I did not have any pain or discomfort hours after the procedure, overnight, or today, so I’m just waiting for the itchiness to start that indicates healing. I’m SO excited to see how they heal and for my touch up appointment to perfect them even more.

TLDR; Sophia is amazing, collaborative, thorough, and I will never go to anyone else for permanent makeup....

Microbladers, has been such a breath of fresh air! After having been at a different apprenticeship that simply was just not a fit for me and my future goals, I made the tough decision to let go of the time I had already put in, and get a fresh start with, Microbladers. It was hands down, the best decision I’ve ever made. The professionalism demonstrated by the master artists during the classes and during client appointments is admirable and certainly sets a great example for all the artists following in their footsteps. I’m so thankful for the structure of each class and getting to choose a specific time that works for me and what I get to learn that day. I am truly thankful to have gotten the opportunity to learn at such a lovely establishment. Thank you to, Miss Danielle, Miss Alyssa & Miss Karla, for sharing all your knowledge and guidance with us.

Después de haber estado en un aprendizaje diferente que simplemente no era adecuado para mí y mis metas futuras, tomé la difícil decisión de dejar pasar el tiempo que ya había dedicado y comenzar de nuevo con Microbladers. At nearly 5 out of 6 total months in apprenticeship with Microbladers academy I'd like update my review. My experience as an apprentice has been rocky at times. However through some misunderstandings it has been shown that the owners and staff at Microbladers work through issues to find resolution.

In July I took Microblading, in August started apprenticeship and in September I took Microshading.

Microblading class was well taught over 2 days. There was plenty of instruction and on topic Q&A. I left Microblading class feeling confident and enrolled in apprenticeship and microshading training.

Microshading "advanced" course started 30 minutes late and ended at scheduled time. For the majority of the class Miss Danielle and the only other student spoke topic. Over 50% of the manual was skipped over and there was not much time for questions. I did not leave feeling confident with my knowledge or application of microshading.

In my first 105 days of apprenticeship, I had less than 15 hours of time at academy. I made a continual effort to schedule times to come into the academy via text and in person.As of September text communication became unreliable as replies began to take several days.

That left me frustrated and I eventually left a review about it. Microbladers reached out to me and we spoke about the steps to finding a resolution. Since then Microshading theory and techniques have been reviewed with me. I have also observed a procedure and am scheduled to observe another.
