I was introduced to M&K through a trusted friend, and from the very first stepâscheduling my custom fitting appointment to finding their locationâthe process was seamless. As someone just one week post-op, I can say with complete honesty that this experience was everything I didnât know I needed during such a vulnerable time.
The faja I received from my surgeon caused discomfort and concernâit compressed my hips, which were one of the areas I wanted to preserve the most fullness in. Discovering that M&K offers custom fajas with zero compression on the hips or butt instantly peaked my interest. But what I experienced when I walked through their doors went far beyond expectations.
From the moment I arrived, I was treated with genuine warmth and hospitality. Their waiting area is not only aesthetically beautiful but thoughtfully designed with post-op clients in mindâoffering water, pineapple juice (an amazing touch for reducing swelling), and BBL cushions so I could sit comfortably while waiting.
The team took their time with me. They walked me through every design option with patience, knowledge, and careâtruly listening to my concerns, goals, and preferences. I never once felt rushed or pressured. They made sure I was 1000% confident in what I was purchasing, which is so important when youâre investing in something that directly impacts your healing, your comfort, and your body confidence.
They offer not only exceptional post-op fajas, but also a range of waist trainers, shapewear, and even a clothing line that I noticed during my visit. And beyond their product variety, itâs their energy that sets them apart. The staff at M&K are beyond friendlyâthey are kind, attentive, and made me feel like I was with family. That emotional comfort, especially during this healing journey, was absolutely priceless.
I already have my stage 2 faja fitting scheduled in two weeks and I truly cannot wait to return. Iâll be telling everyone I knowâwhether theyâre post-surgery or simply looking for quality compression wearâM&K is the place to go. They have something for every body type, every need, and every stage.
Thank you, M&K, for helping me feel supported, seen, and beautifulâboth physically and emotionally. Iâll continue to update my journey, but I already know it will only get better from here.

Read moreSo, first let me start by saying there is only one reason I am giving this company a two stars. If it had not been for this one thing I would have given a 5 star review. Let me explain. I am a business owner and a woman. I understand how hard it is to be that and have success. I went to Mocha & Karamelo to purchase my faja after surgery. Customer service great. Product great. Dressing room great. I was sold, ready to purchase everything they showed me. Because I trusted them. When I got to the cash register my Bill was just shy of $500. Cool, I pulled out my credit card and they young lady tells me there is a 3.5% service charge for credit cards. Whaaaa???đł I said 3.5% is that legal I ask her? Now, I have heard of passing the cc service charge down to the customer, as a business owner I have considered it myself. But not 3.5% maybe 1.75%. So I reluctantly paid my bill and begin to do my research. It turns out, it is perfectly legal to pass down the cc service charges to the customer as long as it is listed for them to see and on the receipt. Which they had done both, however, according to an article written in November 2020 from the Attorney Generalâs office. It is legal to pass the fees to their customers but they are not to excede more than is charged 1-1.5%.
Bottom line: Mocha & Kararmelo are well within Their rights to pass the charges down to me. But it was a moral call for me. Which is why I gave 2 stars. As a Business owner I know how expensive cc fees can be. But when a customer spends almost $500 in your establishment, I think you can wave the 3.5% fee. Needless to say. I did not order my next faja from them and I will not refer people there either. There are plenty of other places to shop that have just as good if not better quality fajaâs that will not charge a service fee when you use your cc. So. so long Mocha & Karamelo. You lost a great...
Read moreExpensive as heck with options that didn't really fit. I was told by my doctor that I needed to get a garment here. Spent just over $200 on something that turned out to not even put compression where I really needed because none of the garments were tight enough down in the lower abdomen area so I had to wear other garments over top and under plus padding for the lower abdomen. I do regret buying here. I got better compression from a $35 spanx on amazon with a $15 binder overtop than I did with the one I bought here. $200 wasted. If you don't have a big butt with hips (causes little to no compression in the lower abdomen) or a normal to short torso (if long, you'll have the worst permanent front wedgie of your life), you're screwed (I have a flat butt and a long torso and didn't really fit into anything they had... was therefore stuck with the least worst fitting option which still didn't fit because I wasn't going to shell out a couple hundred more for a custom one). I was even told by the gal helping me that I'd exhausted all options and I should just pick one. Good quality stuff though, just not enough options for fit.
Edit: I called and left a message with the owner as requested in their response. I never got a call back. To answer their question, I did call them to let them know the day after I bought it that the doctor wasn't happy with the fit. The doctor wanted to set if I could exchange it or something, but was told they couldn't do anything and was only given the number to a seamstress who "might" be able to fix it, though they weren't sure how much or how long it would take (keep in mind I was supposed to have...
