Firehouse Subs Mccarran Marketplace — Restaurant in Nevada

BTW, this is my 2nd experience if this location and I decided to let my long wait for a single sandwich in a not too busy sandwich shop that got my order wrong slide that first time...... But it happened again!!

So Firehouse is always pretty good, but it's not good enough to wait for 21 mins for a sandwich, which was not made to order, I asked for no lettuce.... It had lettuce, rather than waiting another 20+ mins I decided to just eat it anyway. Also heard a table demand their money back for a sandwich they ordered without onions, the remade sandwich apparently ALSO had onions. Now mind you there's no reason this should have taken this long, there was only about 8-10 people in here and only 2 without food....I might forgive someone for making a single mistake, but to witness in my time there they made 3 orders wrong?? Plus 20+ mins to make a sandwich?.... That's a complete and blatant disregard to customer service and or pure ignorance or laziness on the employees part.... Either can't do their job therefore should probably seek employment elsewhere, doesn't care about the job..... Therefore should work somewhere else, or isn't capable of performing their duties and again, shouldn't work here.... This location has turned me off to the firehouse brand from their lackluster performance...... It's gonna be a very long while before I'm back and absolutely WON'T be this store even if I do.... There's many more options when it comes to sandwiches in this town...... Reading some of the other reviews it sounds like this whole "they can't\never get my order right" is a trend here..... Owners need to take notice and make this store even half as worthy as any other location of...

I recently visited Firehouse Subs at around 12:45 PM to order a medium sandwich. Before paying, I showed my military ID and politely asked for a discount, as I had heard that Firehouse Subs supports service members. To my surprise, I was denied, so I decided to leave the establishment.

After leaving, I looked up Firehouse Subs’ policy and saw that the company supposedly offers a 10% military discount. This prompted me to call the store I had just visited to get clarity. When I asked about their discount policy, the employee on the phone confirmed that they do not honor military discounts. I was then told that firefighters and police officers do receive discounts. I asked why this discount was not extended to military members, and the employee explained that it was a decision made by the manager.

This felt not only disappointing but disheartening. I served this country for 12 honorable years, committed to the same principles of service that should unite us. To hear that my service and sacrifices apparently “don’t qualify” for a discount feels like a slap in the face. This feels like a form of discrimination and possibly anti-American sentiment, particularly disheartening given the current social climate and the respect we should be fostering for those who serve.

Firehouse Subs, if you claim to honor first responders, service members should be included. I hope this store reconsiders their stance and begins showing the respect military members...

Idk what it is about this side of town but this whole shopping center isn’t worth coming to unless you’re grabbing something from wal mart. I come in and order a meat ball sub and this kid looks like he’s on the verge of quitting. I ordered at 3:06pm and it was taking a while to get food out since they were more concerned with pick up orders. 3:25 hits and I stand up to see what’s going on and my order comes out minutes after that COLD! I seriously just wanted out of this place and left. I’m never coming back to this location ever again, it’s probably family owned but it straight up sucks. This place is ran horribly just like all the other surrounding food places in this shopping mall. Farmer boys, Carl’s Jr, port of subs, China dragon, and now this place. Gotta drive a little further for my lunch break. It’s like this shopping mall had a job fair and all picked the same kind of bottom of the barrel workers. I hate coming on here to leave bad reviews but damn, if I can help save others time and money so they don’t have it endure this I will. A medium sandwich combo is $18.00!! And it’s horrible, just...
