Overall, while the repair itself was fine, the service felt distant and impersonal. I understand that sometimes people get busy, but the lack of communication and acknowledgment left a lot to be desired. We didn’t feel that welcomed or valued as customers, and it was frustrating to leave without knowing if there were any other steps we needed to take or if we could ask any questions.
Friday, April 4th, 2025: We arrived just before closing at 6:45 PM for a simple ring repair. Asadour appeared somewhat friendly at first and explained that the repair would just be a glue job, needing 30 minutes to dry. He offered to do it right away, and we could pick it up the next day. When we asked about the cost, he mentioned it would be free, but jokingly added, "if you want to pay, 10 bucks." We thought it was a nice gesture since it was such a small repair, but since we had other plans, we decided to come back the next day.
Saturday, April 5th, 2025: We arrived around 3:20 PM, and Asadour was busy with another task. He didn’t acknowledge us immediately, and we had to wait about 10 minutes before my girlfriend said “hi” to get his attention. He briefly said "hi" but continued working. It was a bit awkward as there was no further greeting or direction. Once he finally took the ring, the repair took around 40 minutes, and during that entire time, he didn’t engage with us at all. We were just left to sit quietly. After the repair was finished, there was no conversation about the work, and he just handed the ring back and...
Read moreDisgusting customer service. I don't know who he thinks he is. I went to get jewelry repaired and he accused me of coming three times and not getting service done. Not all black people look alike. Even if I came 10 times, you still need to be corteous to any paying customer. He lacks professionalism. "Everything is going up. I have to pay more for everything."- what are you talking about. You're welding a chain. I will not be going back and if you're looking for a place for jewelry repair, don't come here.
In response, Kev... like I've said before, no I have not come in multiple times. He didn't give me a price. After I sat waiting for him for several minutes and then asked if he wants me to come back. To my surprise, he came over to me upset and complaining that I dont like his prices. That's not how you treat customers. He was not humble earlier today. Good customer service is essential, and it's important for businesses to maintain a professional and respectful demeanor, even on difficult days. Zero stars from me and I'm not letting up. Treat everyone the same! Don't be...
Read moreI honestly do not understand how this jeweler has so many positive reviews. The lack of professionalism, poor attitude, and complete lack of empathy are unbelievable. I have given this place multiple chances, but I am fed up with Asmond’s behavior.
When you leave a bad review, his son comes in with a professional response saying the prices are cheap, the work is good, and making excuses for him. That does not change the fact that Asmond is unbearable—he consistently treats clients with disrespect and makes the entire experience miserable.
Yes, the prices may be lower, but the terrible attitude and mistreatment are not worth it. I would rather pay more elsewhere and be treated with basic respect than come here again. If you dislike your job so much, quit and let someone else take the booth who will value customers instead of mistreating them.
Bottom line: Do not recommend. Cheap prices are not worth...
