They lie too much. 4k camera, open box, market down price was $69 with no warranty, new price for the 4k is $69 with warranty. I asked an employee if they could get it down and they said corporate presets their open box prices and they are non negotiable, thats a lie. Several times they've been out of stock on clearance items like the Hercules variable speed bench grinder and said corporate refunds them for the return of the display that they can't sell it, thats a lie. Another time I bought a 5 drawer roller, got it home and was dented, I called and asked if they would do a partial refund and they declined, so I had to box it back up and return to store 25 mins away to exchange. Their open box prices almost always are only 5% off, doesn't matter if its missing 1 part or 10 and the employees claim their open box items are non negotiable,, thats a lie. I don't know who's managing this store or what they're telling their employees but they are the least customer appreciative store I've ever shopped at., wouldn't even mark down the clearance us general 72" series 2. The only good feedback I have is I broke a 3/8 pitts pro ratchet and they exchanged it. Too many lies for me, ill drive to Milan before I spend anything over a 100 again. Oh oh and I went to buy the 4k 2 camera system and they said they had one left in stock and said it was the display, I said its an empty box, there are no 4k cameras or Dvr on display, she said uh yes there is and we can't sell it. Every time my husband or I have been in the store we’ve had an issue. Once cashier shorted us several dollars change…honest mistake, although this day and age cashiers don’t even have to use their brains bc the register adds and subtracts for them. Next trip we were looking for a specific tarp that was in the sale paper. Asked an associate where it could be located and they had no clue and obviously had no intention of finding out. Third and final trip, hubby was buying a large rolling tool chest. He had an SUV and had already measured dimensions to ensure it would fit. Asked if an associate could help him load it (it wasn’t that heavy a little over a hundred pounds) and was told they would have to have authorization to use a forklift to load it. Seriously?! A forklift to load something into an SUV?! It was apparent they were LAZY and just didn’t want to fool with it. It was early a.m., they had just opened and there was no other customers in the store. They were expecting a couple hours of doing nothing and getting paid on an early Thursday morning. Needless to say my husband did not purchase the item from Paris TN Harbor Freight. I'm very disappointed and dissatisfied with that store! Today is Sunday 5:30pm and my I went to the Paris store and bought a few items that I was needing because the store that I usually shop at didn't have it in stock, me being in a rush I checked out fast and I never payed attention to my ticket but when I got to my truck I looked at the receipt and realized how they never took off the 25% for the icon items so I went back inside and I asked and the lady told me that I have to have the coupon present when checking out bc it was a super coupon(up to that point everything was fine) then I explained to her that the store I usually go to has that coupon on the counter and they ask do you want to use it. That's all I said and she immediately said (YOU'RE LYING) I couldn't believe she said that! And she proceeded to say I have no clue what I'm talking about like I've never shopped at Harbor Freight,... I understand each store is different bc different managers have different thoughts, but that's uncalled for to have an employee to call a customer a liar. Instead of just walking away she kept on arguing. I will try my best not to return to Paris store. The only thing i hate is sometimes paris store has stuff in stock that others don't. But oh well hopefully managers put attention at this...
