The pharmacy staff are very rude, inconsiderate and completely unprofessional. The only pharmacy staff member who truly has compassion is Lori. Everyone else is lazy with bad attitudes. I switched back to this pharmacy when I moved back on this side of town but now I know why I stopped dealing with these people in the first place. It is a nightmare everytime you go there to get your prescription, there is always some issue that is preventing you from getting your meds in a timely and efficient manner. Then, as if that's not bad enough, you have to deal with snotty, non-chalant attitudes from pharmacy techs who are supposed to be there to work but instead would rather gossip, play with their hair and makeup in the mirror and eat snacks the whole time. These people are a disgrace to the Walgreens brand and the whole healthcare community. We depend on our pharmacy techs in the same way we depend on our doctors. These techs that they have up there now can't even be bothered to take the time out long enough to explain any of the medications let alone handle any other issues that may arise. I am so done with Walgreens and I hope someone from corporate actually reads through these comments and actually does something about it because at this point, it is beyond ridiculous. I only rated 1 star because I HAD to rate something in order to comment, otherwise they definitely would not be...
Read moreI only review businesses if 1.) their product is amazing or 2.) customer service is bad enough... unfortunately this is the latter: today was my wedding. I woke up at 1 am with hives from my chest to my knees and trouble breathing. ER doctor administered steroids IV, and gave me a written prescription to fill after my wedding at 1pm. So, on my way to the pharmacy I decide to be courteous and call ahead to let the pharmacist know that I was going to be there no later than five minutes before closing, and asked if she wanted me to give her a description of the PREMANUFACTURED medication (meaning no mixing, no measuring— just plain Jane steroid pack). Her response, “I won’t have time to fill that, and we’re closed tomorrow. We’ve been open all day.”
Furious, I passed the pharmacy I have used for 12 YEARS, and went to CVS— also scheduled to close at 6pm. She said, I can grab it for your real quick— what’s your name... after realizing I wasn’t a current member- she took down my information and said she’d create me a file at opening time the following day... and she’d have my medication ready at opening.
So, here’s to my next 12 years with a new pharmacy that actually puts their...
Read moreI'm a Registered Nurse, working in hospitals for 30 years. I went to Walgreens in Paris, TN on 9/18/2018 at about 4pm to buy a package of pseudoephedrine for my runny nose. I've taken it for my entire adult life whenever I get a cold and it works well. The pharmacist asked me what my symptoms were and I said I had a runny nose from a cold she said "wrong answer" and told me I couldn't buy pseudoephedrine, that she could only sell me an antihistamine. She made me feel like a criminal and treated me like I'm stupid. I went to another pharmacy and bought a package (at a much better price than Walgreens). I went home, took it as directed on the package and experienced relief from the symptoms. No thanks to the Walgreens...
