Every single time that I have went to this Dairy Queen I have been beyond impressed with the food, service, and the work ethic of all of it's employees.
Starting off with food, DQ is definitely a little more pricy than most fast food chains, but that premium is definitely worth it in terms of how good the food is and the portion size. They also cook everything fresh. If you go through the drive thru at this location you will always get your ice cream instantly, but if you purchase food they typically make you pull around and wait a little while, but the wait normally isn't too long and it's worth it given the freshness of the food.
Moving onto service, I am very impressed in this department. A couple of weeks when I went through the drive thru I had ordered some onion rings instead of fries with my meal. The meal was brought out with fries, and as I began to pull out of the parking lot (before I even noticed it myself), one of the employees came running out to my vehicle at Mach 10 speed to give me my rings.
Lastly with work ethic, I am very impressed with all of the employees. My friends and I went to go get some ice cream tonight and were greeted with a smile from Markus (the same one who ran my rings out to me) who very happily took all of our orders and seemed like he legitimately wanted to be there and was happy to serve us. We also witnessed another employee (don't know their name unfortunately) ran out into the pouring rain, lighting, and thunder, to bring a customer their meal... all with a...
Read moreQuite honestly, I’m shocked this location has a 3.8-star rating.
When we walked in, there were no other customers, yet it still took a considerable amount of time to receive our ice cream. The Banana Split Blizzard had to be remade three times—and as shown in the video, it was still extremely runny. This video was taken the moment I got to my car within a minute and a half of receiving it.
When I voiced my concern, Kaitlyn, no name tag, I had to ask (who claimed to be the manager) responded with, “I know what I’m doing, I’ve worked here for five years,” while the rest of the staff stood nearby laughing.
As I was walking out the door, Kaitlyn sarcastically yelled, “You have a great day!” — completely uncalled for and unprofessional.
Ironically, there’s a list of customer service rules posted as you enter. Instead of expecting customers to read and rate the store based on them, perhaps the staff should be required to read—and actually...
Read moreThis was our favorite DQ spot but the last two visits were disappointing to say the least. On the first visit: When you ask for a chocolate oreo blizzard and it comes out still light in color, we've got a problem. They remade it and still the same. They don't know what chocolate looks like apparently. The next visit: It took a good 5 min for someone to come around the front to even greet those of us standing there waiting. When she dis, she only spoke to me ans no one else and there were other ahead of me. Rude. She got door dash orders and left off their drinks so that took even longer. There were young people working just standing around. This place has declined and FAST. It's a disappointment so we will not be encouraging anyone to drive to Paris and...
