When I pulled up to the speaker to order, employee Kamari R. did not greet me. Instead, he proceeded to tell me there would be a wait for food but could not tell me how long. But, I proceeded with my order. I wanted to order Dr. Pepper but to my surprise, this Taco Bell no longer serves Dr. Pepper. So, I asked Kamari what other soft drink options do I have. This employee was so uneducated about his simple task as an order taker that he could not tell me. The manager had to but in to tell me their soft drink options. After I paid, Kamari handed my drinks, credit card and receipt but without naming the items he was handing me. Seemed very unprofessional and unknowing of his job duties. The manager then came to the window and told me to pull forward and park in one of the parking spots in front of the restaurant and they would bring my food out shortly. But there was no one behind me in the drive thru so it seemed unnecessary to tell me to pull forward. But, I did as I was told and pulled forward and parked in a parking spot on the front row closer to the restaurant. 20 minutes went by, yes! 20 minutes! And I still had not received my food. During this time Kamari was bringing out orders to customers who placed their drive thru orders before and AFTER my order! I had to go inside and ask Kamari what happened to my order because he had brought out orders before and after mine with his response was, “let me check”. When I brought the issue to his attention, he was like a deer in headlights. He had no clue how to handle a problem or even the correct response. Let me add, I was very calm and polite the whole time. This employee should have recognized that I was still sitting in the parking lot which should have made him realize that I still had not received my order and he should have immediately went into the restaurant to check on my order. However, this did not happen! I had to go into the restaurant after waiting 20 minutes to check on my order. For the manager to tell me they must have lost my order and she would make my order. The manager did apologize. During this time, Kamari decided to prop up against the drive thru counter while watching his manager and other employees work. He could have helped the dine-in cashier take orders (there were 4 people in line to order dine-in), sweep the kitchen (the floor was covered in cheese and lettuce…..yuck!) help make the food or do something! Except his work ethic showed he was lazy, unknowing of his job duties and the items in which his employer sells, and had no personality! I don’t come to Taco Bell much even though I live within five minutes of the restaurant and after todays poor service, I will not likely return for a...
Read moreI placed an order on the app for 2 standard burritos. When I arrived and gave my name for the mobile order, I was told there would be a wait and to pull around to a parking spot and the order would be brought out. 35 mins later, Kamari brought out my order. He was polite but moving very slowly, seemingly unbothered that there were 7 or 8 cars parked, waiting for their orders. I asked his name and then asked why it took half an hour for a fast food order. He explained there was only 1 girl cooking and 1 person cleaning. I asked if the management would be adding any staff and he explained they were trying to. He said the manager had left early tonight due to her heart hurting as she recovers from cancer. I thanked him for his explanation and he apologized for the wait. I’m not sure if management reads these reviews but no fast food restaurant should take over 30 mins to deliver 2 burritos. I completely understand that extenuating circumstances happen but I’ve been to this Taco Bell enough times to notice that they are very slow, especially in the evenings. And when that many people are waiting for their “fast” food orders, it’s always encouraging to see servers move with purpose, as though they are trying to serve you as quickly as they can, which is not what I witnessed...
Read moreI went in to eat at this restaurant with a friend who is in a wheelchair. This establishment does not have much room to move around if you are in a wheelchair. Also, we stood at the front for about 8 minutes without being acknowledged. When someone did come up, we were informed that we needed to use the kiosk because they were too far behind and were unable to man the register. We were told the kiosks take cash. Upon ordering at the kiosk, it told us to go to the counter to pay. My companion got her cup, however, I had to ask for mine. After we sat and were eating, a couple of people trickled in, and their orders were taken at the register. Another customer came in and complained that they had forgotten her food. They apologized, but when she stated she was upset and said they were horrible, the staff then decided to yell out at her to "have a good day" in a very unprofessional tone. It was disrespectful, unnecessary, and rude. Short-handed or not the way the staff conducted business in the hour I was there made me not want to go back. Also, there was a woman walking around the kitchen area with her hair down, no uniform, and gloves not...
