Maurices — Local services in Paris

Walked in last night, 30 minutes before closing to find a top for Christmas Eve. Sad that it's the closest one to me but I'll drive to Longview or order offline before I shop here again.

I came in and was only greeted with a Hello. I looked at a shacket first but it's a size bigger than my norm but I know not all sizing is the same. I was then lectured about how shackets usually fit bigger. I replied that they don't if you buy them in the correct size. I had found a flannel on the table and walked up to the register. I stood there as the lady behind the counter had been counting down her drawer. Not once did she holler for the other associate.

I felt the tension from the employees and some customers the moment I walked into the Paris Texas store. Smh they didn't expect to see a black african woman entering the store. I was there picking up items I purchased from the the internet. 2 pairs of Jeggings the prices start @ $40 and up and other items.The bottom line is I believe the employees are racist. I really love the Maurices online stores and the clothing looks great and fit great. I will continue to purchase from Maurices but the internet only.
