I've lived in Parker for 20 years and I have stopped by this establishment once or twice a year to purchase cigars or equipment for my humidor. It's a clean place with a nice atmosphere and a great selection. However, I will not be returning because they have added an awkward and overly aggressive tipping screen at the register. On my last visit, I dropped by to get a few cigars for my wedding Groomsmen. I knew the brand I wanted and I was in the store for less than 5 minutes. The individual attending the humidor pointed me towards the brand I wanted and mentioned that there was a special reserve version available, he then returned to the register and rung up my order. He then flipped the screen around and presented me with a tip screen with tips ranging between 20 and 30%. Not only was he requesting a tip between 28 and 42 dollars, but the tip screen also had annotation explaining what each tip meant. The 20% tip said something like "just okay, could be better" and the 30% tip said "excellent service". I find the notion that, "just ok" service deserves a 28 dollar tip ridiculous. I read the descriptions and then pressed custom tip and added a four dollar tip. When he flipped the screen back around his face went blank and he just quietly said, "Thanks" in a somewhat condescending way. This tip was the equivalent of a dollar for every minute I was in the store and greater than $1 for every sentence he had spoken to me. In the future, I'll find a way to purchase cigars without being confronted with this aggressive and condescending...

Odd experience to say the least. I’m sure the overall place is good, but my father and I came in to buy some cigars. The dude let us have our space to look around and after a few minutes I got $85-90 worth of cigars that I was set on. Went to checkout and the whole transaction the guy didn’t say a word. After leaving my dad asked what I had purchased because the total was $195. $100 more than what my cigars were worth!!!! Luckily I was able to hit the print physical receipt button before it went away. I walked out and the first item he charged me for was a $90 cigar humidor I never purchased. The whole thing seemed very sketchy due to the fact that this guy works in a cigar lounge and knows the price of the cigars. How does $90 worth of cigars turn into $195 and you don’t correct it or tell the customer anything? I think he believe we were naive, but I’ve been smoking cigars for 15 years and been to countless lounges. At no point did I mention I want a cigar humidor nor pick one up to even consider buying. Seemed like he was trying to scam us. After going back inside to get the refund for the humidor we never purchased the guy never apologized or said anything. Just processed the return and that was it. First time going into this establishment and needless to say it will be my last. A lot better lounges out there that aren’t as dingy or shady like this one!!

Stopped in today for some Boveda packs for my humidor. Decent sized walk-in, and two separate lounges. The big one in the back for members, and a smaller one in front for occasional visitors like myself. For $25 you can get three tokens for future visits, no time limit. Otherwise, memberships are $200 for a year of unlimited visits in the bigger lounge. I'm new to this area, and I curdle at having to pay to walk in and have to pay for the privilege of paying for cigars and a place to smoke them.
