Absolutely filthy. Inexperienced cook started falling being, waitress started helping the cook. She did NOT use gloves while handling the food, money, trash etc. She kept wiping her runny nose with her hand while cooking. Her snot hand was used to scoop the waffle batter out of the bucket with the ladle, all the while her hand is slipping down the ladle into the batter on the ladle and then dipped back into the batter. Did this 4x. She then needed to get the batter off her hand, so she rinsed it lightly in the sink - no soap used at all. They way undercooked my eggs, forgot my bacon, forgot my daughters waffle. Asking for the items that were forgotten is what got the waitress involved in cooking in the first place. They then burned the waffle, burned the bacon which they then served to a different table. They recooked the eggs correctly, but by that time watching the gross mishandling of the food and also taking notice of the general disarray and overall filth of the kitchen - we stopped eating - received a discount for the missing bacon, paid the bill and left.
We will NEVER return to this restaurant. It's obvious management is clueless and the owners are either lazy or don't care about their investments longterm outcome. This place needs to have a surprise health inspection and visit from the franchisor. If ZERO or negative ratings were possible- that is what I would've left. Read moreWith this location, it's generally hit or miss. When Marie is there everything is fun, friendly, and organized. When she isn't it all goes to hell. Marie is the only reason I'm giving them two stars. My most recent visit was yesterday(11/02/16) and it was less than pleasant. The waitress that was there was extremely slow and shuffled around not really accomplishing anything except huffing and puffing and causing two tables of customers to just up and leave. It took 30 min for our table to get greeted and order drinks. The food we ordered was not brought to us as ordered, but we figured we'd rather eat what was brought to us instead of waiting another hour for another mistake. We weren't checked on or offered refills. We weren't given a bill. When we went up to the counter to retrieve our bill, the busboy offered to help us, but was told off by the lazy waitress. Absolutely rude and degrading towards that young man. Needless to say, this visit effected her tip. Highly recommend asking for Marie, as she is kind, professional, and makes you feel like family. Read moreI have never been in a Waffle House we’re depending on what section you sit in you may have to wait over 30 minutes automatically to be served. This was per the waitress Michelle. The manager (Derrick) was supposedly in training and she was told to wait on her side a period of time before she could put in her customers orders. Bizarre! People came in and if the seats became available on the other side the customers were served immediately, where as if you had already been in the restaurant your order had to wait to be put in. Wait, it gets worst, my bacon came out first with no waffle. I was told I would have to wait an additional 3 minutes for the waffle. The bacon was cold by the time the waffle came out. I sent the bacon back and just ate the waffle. I heard the manager tell the waitress he knew what he was doing and then threatened to write the waitress up. This was all conducted loudly in front of the customers. Whoever is in charge of this Waffle House on Parker needs to deal with these issues ASAP. I will never come back. The waitress gave 10 percent off, but the meals should have been free for all this drama! She was trying as hard...
