Had two negative experiences. Took a Samsung tablet there and they could not fix it. Got it fixed elsewhere... not that big a deal. Took my A54 there for a new screen and they replaced it twice. 1st one on me and 2nd one on them as they broke the 1st. After 6-8 months ( I think, maybe longer) it randomly went out. They told me I needed another one so they ordered one and they sold me a spare phone for $200 in the meantime. Instead of going back, I took the A54 to another place to have it repaired and they did, and then asked if I wanted the vibrator replaced in it as well. I did not know that it was missing from the last repair (R3) as I dont use it much for notifications. R3 had been the only service place to crack open the phone. WTH??!. Picked up my repaired phone from the other place and took the replacement back to R3 for refund, but asked about the vibrator. They denied at first then she wanted to know how I knew, then said that is not a replaceable item, until she double checked. Makes me mad that they had a hard time fixing the first screen and deleted a factory function by accident or whatever and never mentioned it. That is deceptive! Then told her the cost at the other place to get the $21 vibrator replaced not including labor and she said that was too much and they were overcharging me. How arrogant! I am happy to pay more if it's fixed rather than pay less and make trips and it breaks again. I dont usually want to harm another persons business but these guys upset me so buyer beware. Lots of arrogant...
Read moreR3 electronics was a life saver for me I took my Xbox one x to ubreakifixit and the tech was extremely lazy onley did easy repairs and wanted to charge way more for things that were not broken they thought the retimer chip was an HDMI filter same thing and said they turned away people with those problems because they couldn't get parts and couldn't do it. Amatures.... Found online parts are everywhere. Took it to r3 after consulting many techs online and found out that most things can be repaired on Xbox one x 8/10 repairability just needed a good shop well I took it in to r3 and apparently they are quite good at fixing Xbox one xs they even upgrade them with ssd . I love my Xbox one x systems and don't like the new series models and want to play my systems for the next 5 or more years r3 fixed the retimer chip without issue and now it runs like new again! And they had reasonable prices for repair or upgrade . I will be taking any consoles or computers to them from now on thier amazing ! Thanks...
Read moreI’ve had issues ever since they fixed my MacBook screen. First, the screen they installed camera was broken. So whoever their screen dealer is, sent them a screen with a broken camera. It would be another $500 to replace it, so I just opted for using an external camera for zoom calls. Now, there’s a this thick line on my computer, no crack! Just this line, I took it to the Apple Store, and boy the news they had to tell me! They told me whoever installed this screen, did a sloppy job and the display itself isn't apple authentic and lacks so many components its supposed to have. SO, now $1000 later buying a new Macbook because one company, claimed they could repair my computer screen… My advice….Just take it to Apple, or an actual authorized Apple Server. Other than that I guess they’re nice, not timely but kind. The only other thing that bothered me was they allow their cat to roam around, and I’m allergic so, wish I had a heads up there to bring allergy medicine...
