Reviewed this place 6 months ago with just a 2 star rating without explaining all of the substantial problems we observed. We have watched this place get less and less busy since 6 months ago and finally decided to try it out again today in the hopes that they wanted to win some new customers finally.
The drinks were pricey but they had a decently priced lunch menu. The food came out insanely fast (premade hot plates) and was highly overcooked. My entire meal tasted like it was cooked atop burning plastic, and I'm still suffering the belly pains. I brought this up to the waiter serving my family and I and he just shrugged and went, "so no additional margarita then?"
Moments later he returned with a round of surprise shots to the Spanish speaking table he connected with a great deal.
Service was sub par, the food was bad and the only thing this particular waiter succeeded with was freaking out my 5 month old son, and my boy tends to love everybody, and overcharging us for burned food. I didn't write out a review from the last time we visited because we had decided to never return to a restaurant that caused us to feel offended and belittled. Our intuition was correct.
Never returning ... Drive down the road another couple miles and stick with...

I dined alone, which I think raised the suspicion I was a professional critic. Ignoring that, I was actually somewhat blown away. Service was just OK, so even though they seemed a bit hyper-focused, it didn’t seem like they were 100% focused on the customer experience (more on that later).
But based on what I ordered, I was extremely satisfied with each food item. I had the special ceviche, the bacon, ham & cheese wrapped shrimp and the churros. Every dish delivered EXACTLY what I was hoping for. But in truth the ceviche was the most divine dish I have ever had the pleasure to taste, and even when I had two day old leftovers I was still blown away by the freshness and nuances of the flavors. Literally one of my favorite dishes EVER even two days later.
I had three to go boxes after finishing my dine, and expected the offer of a bag, but decided not to ask when it wasn’t offered. Lost my churros in the parking lot as a result (the containers are slippery), and wished they had offered (the primary reason for a three service rating). But I can’t wait to have my spouse join me here, as the atmosphere is festive and authentic. GREAT option to have right here in...
Read moreWe have been coming here for over ten years since my wife was pregnant with our first son. The quality during the day just doesn’t seem to be there anymore seems like night time cooks are much better. I will say the quality seems to have slipped at times as well. We used to go here and it was excellent every time. They have lost a lot of good waiters over the years. It used to be 4-5 stars to us but it’s just not the same anymore the pork used to be very tender & juicy for burritos you can tell it’s never fresh anymore. Fajitas used to be mouth watering packed with flavor especially the veggies now half the time the vegetables have zero flavor. Speaking of fajitas I think it’s time for some new wooden things they come out on last time we ate inside my was actually on fire smoking up the place. Last time we ordered delivery they forgot our burrito which defeated the purpose of delivering food with company over. I had to go drive back to the restaurant to pick it up they were apologetic but by the time I returned the burrito wasn’t warm & the fajitas were cold. Overall we still do enjoy the place but I think they need to get back...
