Three of us were seated promptly. Booth was so tight I couldn’t breathe. Moved to a table. The place was maybe 25% capacity. Chips and salsa and water arrived quickly. Our waitress took our drink order, House margarita (14.00), House Chardonnay (14.00), Diet Coke. Diet Coke came out quickly. Waited 10 minutes for wine and Marg. Ordered food. 2 enchilada plate, burrito supreme, combo plate with bean and cheese burrito, and cheese and onion enchilada, all smothered in green chili. Waiting, and waiting, and waiting. Did I mention not busy at all in there. 40 minutes later food came out. Bean and cheese burrito had no cheese. Green chili had zero pork in it. Cheese and onion enchilada had no onions inside or on top. Asked for some onions to put on top. Waitress freshened waitress station before finally bringing over some diced onions. Asked for a cup of ice to keep wine cold , Manager finally came over and brought ice water over, as the waitress was overwhelmed by having a couple of tables. After eating half our meals asked waitress for (to go) containers and our bill. She sped off before telling her we wanted to have 2 separate bills. Shortly after she came back with one bill and the containers. We told her we wanted to have 2 separate bills, and she said she could do that and would be right back. She came back with 2 bills that were correct. I submitted my credit card for the one bill for $70.00, and after she ran my card the bill came back as $124.00. When confronting the waitress about it she said she would fix it. 15 minutes later she came back with correct amount on the bill. I asked if the 124.00 was charged to my card. She said it might show as pending on my account, but should drop off. So I checked my account and sure enough there is the pending charge for 124.00, but no pending charge for 70.00? Manager never came over to apologize for anything. La Loma’s in downtown and Castle Rock are outstanding, but this Parker location is horribly run. Stay away, and enjoy the...
Read moreThis was our first visit to the much anticipated Parker location. Overall a disappointing experience. We were hoping for better on our 25th anniversary. Queso was watery and rather bland. Chicken fajitas were good, but not spectacular for $28. Beef chimichangas were very dry and only palatable when slathered in green chile, which was somewhat bland and pasty. Rice and refried beans were very good. Churros were very good, mud pie very average. We visited on a fairly slow Thursday evening, but our waiter, Pete, seemed to be in quite a hurry to get us to leave. No one was waiting for a table when we left. We had appetizers, dinner and dessert and were there for just under an hour. He asked us if we wanted dessert as he cleared - we said we wanted to think a moment - he immediately returned with the bill. We went ahead and ordered dessert anyway, and he again returned with bill while we were eating dessert. Prior to finishing, I placed card on tray and he instantly grabbed it, ran it, and returned for signature - we were still eating... As we finished, I signed it but did not immediately place it on his signature tray. Undeterred, he retrieved it from in front of me on the table and wished us farewell. We were really hoping for a better experience. I have visited the downtown location for decades and the CR location from time to time. The Parker location is in a different league - NOT a better one. For anyone wondering if La Loma is better than the neighboring Los Dos Potrillos, it is not. Fancier room, but that's about it. Not sure if we would go back.
Update - I replied via email to response from management inviting me to discuss further "internally". This was on Oct 9. No reply so far. I guess they didn't really want to hear...

I ordered the usual Fajitas but Chicken this time as I wanted to see if $26 was worth it for chicken fajitas
Single order of pricey chicken fajitas with onions ( My request)
The chicken fajitas came out in a timely manner but way under portion size (4 ounces if that at most) thinly sliced fajita chicken meat sitting on really thin sliced onions that were saturated in the cooking oil they use to prepare the fajitas!
I’m not here at this establishment to Just tastes oils that are soaked into the onions themselves (Yuck) Why so much oil ? I ask myself that question cause with the amount of cooking oil used in these onions is Just Unhealthy!
Presentation is everything n the food restaurants serve and if La Loma sees fit to use excessive amount of oils (Vegetable oil No Thanks) I want to try onions with less oil in my fajitas not a 1/4 cup of oil that is saturated in the onions and chicken….
I really wish it was better at this new location but it failed in so many ways when it comes to quality of food (Product) they serve
Now the Pork green chili is some of the best The rice was moist The refried beans are so so The condiments tiny portions All around.
After it’s all said and done The single chicken fajitas come out to $28 plus for meal only! Chicken can’t be that expensive!
I really want to like this La Loma and as good as the green pork chili is……. iit Isn’t justifiable for me stopping by La Loma….to just eat Green...
