Haven't been there for awhile but everything and everyone was polite and friendly. Vegetables were looking good. Again prices were up but needed to grab potatoes, plums,2 salads premade, grapes and a watermelon. Been going here since they opened. The owner wasn't lying about spuds, they are 7 dollars for 10lbs. Last time buying those gold nuggets. I can tell prices are going up. Use to be able to go in and buy vegetables for a week or more. Not anymore. Will keep going here but will have to watch my pennies. Everything was fine today. Some stuff was high but I guess we have to live with it. Wow I was shocked in the price of things that have gone up. Absolutely love this little gem. It has such a great selection of produce for such a great deal. There is a section in front of bulk items for less cost such as rice, potatoes, onions, bananas, etc. You can grab a large bag from $1-$3 for any of those! They have the cheapest squash, apples, and berries that I have been able to find. They also have a small section of meat and fresh made Guacomole and salsa! Both are made with whole foods only so that is a major plus for us! I have also been able to pick up a couple of large boxes of bananas for a steal! Great service as well! I love Cappy’s - for starters, when you enter, there is always an array of items in bulk; Peppers, Tomatoes, etc. When I see this, I usually pick up a few pounds of things and make a batch of Ketchup, or pick up some peppers to pickle.

As you round the corner, there’s a lovely little butcher shop that has all of the cuts of things you didn’t know you wanted, but make the best of things in the world; flap meat, thin cut Chuck, beef neck, shanks (osso bucco!), housemade chorizo…

The store itself is always filled with a variety of ever changing things as the seasons go in addition to pantry and dairy items.
