Yesterday we stopped into the Glades Rd, Boca Location. We decided to order a 1/4 pound of cheese at the deli counter. They don't have Boar's Head, so we decided to try their brand. 4 employees were standing behind the deli counter, 3 of them were talking to each other. There was only one lady helping customers and taking orders. She asked us what we wanted, we told her and she grabbed a block of cheese covered in plastic, but she was not wearing any gloves. In fact, just before she reached in for the cheese, I saw her first look at her iphone in her pocket. That was enough for us, so we told her never mind. As we were walking up towards the front to pay for a few items, we passed the loose candy & nut section. I witnessed another employee who was tasked with refilling the buckets, open and reach into the candy gummies with his bare hand and put a handful into his mouth. I looked at my wife in disbelief after these two events. I still give Sprouts a 3 star review because we do love the selection of produce, breads and many hard to find prepackaged items that are available here. I do hope this review helps them improve these...
