Westwinds of Boca — Local services in Parkland

This Publix is my home store for the last 10 years or so. It only about 7 mins walking distance and 1-2 mins to drive there, right next to my home in Timberwalk II of Loggers Run. I have so much love for not just the store, but each and every employee. They are like a family to me and my own family. Everyone that works here are always so friendly and know me & my family by name. They treat anyone that walks into the store with such a kind embrace, and are always more than happy to assist in every way possible. There has never ever been a problem/issue anytime myself or loved ones have shopped here. Even my 5 year old son gets excited each time we have to go to THIS Publix. Sure I've gone to different Publix stores, but only due to being in a different part of town at the time. I will ALWAYS prefer Logger's Run Publix over any other. This is my home store forever and always. My 2nd family if you will. Thank you so much for everything (The employees) you have done and continue to do for me and my family! My favorite Publix to shop at. The employees are all super friendly and helpful! They do a great job of getting people through line and out the door quickly so you don't have to stand around waiting in line to check out forever. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because their new self-checkout kiosks don't accept cash. None of the around 15 or so of them accept cash which can be an inconvenience sometimes. If I only have cash and only an item or two, it's frustrating to not be able to self-checkout quickly, and instead have to wait in a line behind other customers with a cart full of groceries. If the self checkout kiosks start accepting cash, I will be more than happy to change my rating to 5 stars. Other than that, it's a great...

The meat dept manager said he was the ONLY MNGR IN STORE. HE DID AGREE ABOUT RETURNS/EXCHANGES ETC... ARE AT MSNAGERS DISCRETION, YET HE DENIED MY RETURN AND HAD NO PATIENCE TO LISTEN WHY I NEEDED MY MONEY BACK. IM FROM OUT OF TOWN AND I PURCHASED AN OVER THE COUNTER INHALER TO USE IT ON MY SERVICE DOG, BUT CLI IC NEXT DOOR FORBID ME TO DO SO. It was 30$ I lost. I even explained to him how I was broke and needed the money to purchase food. He was just bothered by my presence. even an employees apologized to me. NEVER AGAIN.
