I used to go to this location quite a bit when my daughter's pediatrician was located next door. After I took her to the doctor we would go over a get a treat from the bagel shop to make her feel better. It was a tradition for years but then the doctor moved and I stopped having a reason to be in the area. It has been years since my last visit to this location but I found myself in the area running errands on Friday so I popped in to grab a quick lunch to bring the family.
The first thing I noticed was the restaurant had gotten a recent makeover. Everything looked fresh with new paint and art work and there were beautiful pendant lamps hanging over the tables. The same Boca crowd I remembered was there enjoying their bagels and schmears. I had to familiarize my self with the menu since it had been so long since my last visit. They had some scones and muffins decorated with green icing for St. Patrick's day but I was interested in the delicious bagel sandwiches I remembered so fondly. With the help of the patient person waiting on me I finally settled on a turkey, bacon, and avocado bagel for the daughter, chicken salad for the hubby, and a turkey and cheddar on Asiago cheese bagel for me. You get the choice of potato salad, chips, or fruit salad with your bagels. They also include a pickle which is a nice touch. Lunch for the three of us was $22. It was a pleasant change up from the usual lunch and my sandwich was just as good as I remembered. I wish there were more Einsteins by me but I just don't intersect with them very often. This location was clean and the staff were very accommodating. The young guy who waited on me made some recommendations about different bagel and bread choices that I took him up on and everyone enjoyed their lunch. If I was in the area again I wouldn't hesitate to...
Read moreWe’ve been coming here on and off for years. Truthfully we had stopped coming for several years because I had found a better bagel at another place…. But my 7 year old says it’s her fav bagel place so we went here the other day for just bagels to take out. 1st off the employees are not very friendly, and they were so busy talking to each other they barley paid attention to me. I got 3 bagels and 1 with cream cheese. Total bill was $8.32 In my honest opinion, that’s insane. And their bagels are not huge either. Also, you can’t come here near their closing time because they are out of a ton of the more popular bagels. They place was not clean I either. A ton of dirty tables and trash on floor, it just felt to me like they just didn’t care. And with the prices skyrocketing these days, I’d rather spend my $$ in a place that takes better care of their area and their customers. Also paying $2 per bagel is just dumb. The 2 stars is because the bagels do taste...
Read moreI have been going to this place for the last 5 years and usually have had pretty good service however for the last month the service has been horrible. I do not know if management has changed but it does not seem like anyone cares about the business. I went there today, Sunday at 8:30 in the a.m. which I would imagine to be one of the busiest days of the week and to my surprise they had no bagels ready outside of the less popular flavors but no e.t,sesame,poppy. This has been a common issue lately and the employee didn't seem to care at all. I think what made it worse was there was a line of people waiting for service and weren't told that there were no bagels. I think management should at least let people know so they are not waiting for nothing. I did go to another restaurant and will probably not go back.
I'm pretty sure this will not do anything..but as a business owner I would want to know whats going on when...
