KC Cattle Company — Local services in Parkville

So far, all my experiences with KC Cattle Company have been very positive. Everything that I have ordered from them has been delicious and of the highest quality. Delivery is really exceptional. I receive delivery in 2 - 3 days to CT from MO in, what is very important to me, recyclable packaging that keeps everything completely frozen! Very admirable!!! I also have to compliment KC Cattle on their excellent customer service! I had problems with the website when I was trying to place my last order. I emailed them back and forth but there was still problems. Frank actually called me to personally resolve the issue and I was able to directly place my order with him before one of the items was sold out online! Definitely went out of his way to provide excellent service! Excellent company, support this vet owned company!!!

6/30/2022 I just wanted to add to my previous review. I definitely go by the saying that if there's anything negative to say that person will tell 10 people but if there's something positive to say that person will tell one person. (Having worked with the public I know that's true). I really try to flip that saying and make sure I let those people know when I appreciate them. So, I was already thinking of contacting KC C Co. to let you know that I'm very pleased with my delivery once again! Since I ordered the shrimp I was concerned about the recent hot weather and paid extra to have it flown 2days to CT. It arrived promptly and still frozen. Supposed to be a nice holiday - thinking about possible surf and turf on the grill - shrimp and wagyu chuck eye steak! Thanks for making it possible - once again you hit it out of the park!! Have a great holiday and thanks for your service!

7/20/22 I just received another order that I had placed with KC Cattle Company. Once again, I can't say enough about the quality of their products! I have never been disappointed by any of my orders. What I also want to emphasize is their EXCELLENT customer service!!! With this order, I was in a rush to place my order so it wouldn't be sold out. So I automatically checked out my order and only then did it occur to me that I needed to choose a quicker shipping option due to the heat wave!!! Three days shipping wasn't going to cut it - I needed to change it to delivery in two days. After I placed the order, right away I emailed them asking if it was too late to change the shipping method and change my charge to include those charges. VERY promptly, right away, I received a return email saying it would absolutely be no problem!!! And true to their word I received my order today - no dry ice but both cold packs and my meat still frozen!!! To all who helped me out by changing the delivery method for my order, I am extremely grateful for your help!!! In this 100° weather, I'm not sure the meat would've tolerated a ~3 day trip from MO to CT... Thanks so...

SUPERIOR PRODUCTS AND GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Superb customer service from every member of their team. You can tell they go out of their way to try and make things easy for their customers. Received timely responses to special requests even on weekends. We loved their BBQ sauce so much we placed a large order of it to give to our guests as gifts at our upcoming wedding. I thanked Baby Jesus they took so much care when packing that order because I literally heard the FedEx driver throw the package on my driveway from inside the house. My heart dropped I thought for sure I’d open a box of sauce and shattered glass, but I was shocked not a single bottle was disturbed. THANK YOU!

For those of you wondering if the hotdogs are really THAT good? Yes, they are. Easily the most flavorful hotdog I’ve ever had. We smoked the short ribs tonight with some friends and they were a hit. The Jalapeño & Cheese Summer Sausage barely lasted an hour (Also probably the best summer sausage I’ve had. Good amount of heat for anyone with a great jalapeño flavor.) I know KC Cattle Company gained another two fans today.

We like to smoke and grill on occasion so it’s great to have found such awesome products you can keep on hand. Wagyu isn’t just for the advanced chef, smoker or grill master. I think it’s actually the opposite. Since wagyu has such great marbling I think you actually have a little more room for error. So don’t be intimidated and give it a try! You won’t be disappointed! I’ll admit, I was skeptical about frozen meat and only bought from the butcher. But, we gave it a try and loved it and now we can’t wait for KC Cattle Company to get some more inventory so we can stock up!

Love that this is a veteran own and ran company. After reading the blogs, Instagram posts and email subscriptions it just makes sense why KC Cattle Company has the best meat and customer service in town....

Very disappointed in my experience with the quality of meats at KC Cattle co.. I ordered over $700 of meat in three orders and it seems like they did a bait and switch to me! While my first order, which cost less than $200, was great the cuts were processed and packaged well and the quality was excellent; unfortunately I made the mistake of taking advantage of their New Years (2023) sale and I placed two more orders totaling over $500. When I received the order I noticed the package was different (cheaper) and several cuts weren’t vacuum sealed appropriately, unfortunately the lapse of quality control didn’t end there. Out of the 20 Teres Majors I ordered only a few, maybe six were cut appropriately, meaning the butcher poorly cut the muscle group from the chuck and gave me much cheaper and poorly flavored meat instead of melt in your mouth texture with excellent flavor I have tough poorly flavored Chuck meat! Unfortunately when I did inform customer service at KC Cattle co. I was told they “care about the quality of their product but my experience is because they previously had a processor that didn’t meet their standards; apparently their resolution for the situation where they sold me ~$500 of steaks now destined to be stew meat is to give me a 20% off a future order! Business practice like this won’t get future sales! Even better I’m that person that will tell those whom I interact with to avoid purchasing/making the mistake I did giving KC Cattle co....
