I contacted closet factory during the 2013 remodel of my home and on the recommendation of my designer. They designed and installed her large dressing room closet a few years back and it was nothing less than spectacular.
My project was more modest. I live in Rocky River in beachcliff II area and my home was built in the 1940s. The closet was added as part of a master suite addition which included a Master Bath and Laundry area on the second floor.
I originally worked with another designer in the planning and installation of the closet. Kathy was very experienced and knew almost instinctively what I needed before I even asked.
Shortly after the install Kathy decided to take another position in the company. I wanted to tweak a few things about the closet and upgrade the area where the washer/drier unit was housed. That is when when Beth came on the scene.
I was nervous because I had not worked with her before however from our first meeting I found her easy to talk to and a great listener. She is also very calm but focused like a "lazer beam" on the mission. I tend to be hyper so for me I found Beth to be a calming force. Her creativity in problem solving my space issues was impressive.
Closet Factory offers systems that can be reconfigured to better suit changing lifestyles and families at very reasonable costs.
You truly need to live with a closet for awhile to get a feel if something is working well for your needs- I waited almost 2 years.
In my closet Beth came up with a plan to expand shelving for my shoes, added additional shelving for out of season clothing, installed hand controlled dimmer lighting over the mirrored area over my built in bureau and added an additional valet rod.
Around my frontloading washer/dryer Beth designed a cabinet to hide the pipes and enough room remained to store a laundry hamper. She also added shelving on top of the closet for supplies. Wow! The area works like a well oiled machine saving me steps and allowing me to multitask when needed.
If you are thinking of an addition or remodel and you need efficient beautiful storage without spending a fortune you will do yourself a huge favor to contact Beth at The Closet Factory.
I am already planning my next storage project and Beth will definitely be...
Read moreIn 2006 we moved into my parents old house, built in 1968 as a summer house, so not a lot of storage space. 3 small bedrooms and one bath. We made our bedroom in the basement walk out level and set to organizing. We called Closet Factory and Anna Fitzgerald came out and showed us ways we could build closets in such a way that would not eat up our limited space. We did the project 3 years apart - first building closets in and that enabled unto get rid of the 4 dressers we were using for clothing and bring our hanging clothes downstairs into the bedroom area. Then this year we finished the project by sheet rocking and insulating the walls, replacing the carpet, and replacing the ceiling. Closet Factory came out again and we installed an entry area that gives us a place to remove "farm dirty" boots and coats and store winter/summer outdoors gear. We changed the plan several times and each time the designer took it all in stride, focusing more on what we wanted and what our goals were with the installation. The whole process started in February and by the first week of May the project was complete. From the designer, Anna, to the office staff who called to coordinate installation, to the installers who carried out the work, there was nothing but efficient professionalism. They provide you with clear instructions for preparing the room which was invaluable. The closets themselves are well made, sturdy, and easy to clean. Looking forward to years of finally being organized!! Thank you Closet Factory!! I special thanks to Anna Fitzgerald - she is a skilled and knowledgable designer. She spent time asking me about what our goals were and made the project what we wanted. We are thrilled with...
Read moreAlthough we are located on the east side and Closet Factory is on the west side, our design professional (also an east sider) recommended them instead of a well known competitor located much closer to home. We could not be more pleased with the outcome of our dealings with them. Their representative (Sue Ann) is punctual, professional and personable. Her knowledge of the product line is comprehensive. Her understanding of the construction based requirements of installation is impressive and her design advice was always spot on . The quality of the materials used is far more substantial than I would have guessed. The murphy bed mechanism that was installed is massively robust yet operates with only two fingers. Four closets and a large rec-room built-in wall of storage / display were installed. Would not hesitate to use Closet Factory again or to recommend...
