Mizu Sushi — Restaurant in Parma

We are visiting Cleveland to get away after thanksgiving, and we ran into this GEM that is right around the corner from the hotel. Our server Emily was more than amazing and she made our experience extra special. Me and my family only eat cooked sushi, she recommended the Winter Roll and the Tiger S roll (I cannot remember the exact name of it) and the American Dream roll. We got thr Tiger S and Winter roll and we’re super satisfied! They both had amazing flavor and different veggie mixtures within each roll. That being said, I’m sure the American Dream roll is just as delightful!

Enough about the food though, what really made this experience so beautiful and memorable was our server Emily. She is very attentive and literally never let our drinks run low. When my son said that he was full of his noodles, she served more to his plate and successfully convinced him to eat more. She also noticed that I am pregnant, and she went out of her way to tell the chef to ensure that he cleaned everything and washed his hands to reduce cross contamination between Raw and cooked sushi. When we were heading out, she saw my son struggling with his coat and helped him zip it up and put his hood on him since it was snowing and super cold out. She told us to take care on our way home tomorrow, and to make sure that we come back after baby is born so she could meet her. I really appreciate the hospitality and the customer service because it’s hard to find these days, but Emily’s service made me feel like we were family and that we had met once before! If I’m ever in Cleveland I will most definitely 100% be back to eat there. And of course I will be sure to request Emily for my server.

Best sushi around! 1st time we tried this place we actually ordered off of doordash. So much food for such a great price. We were very surprised. Usually to go sushi isnt all that good, but this tasted fresh like you were at the restaurant. Even got some surprise potstickers we didnt order. Haha we ended up ordering again because we loved it so much. We usually get the loveboat for 2. 3rd time we had Mizu we decided to actually go in the restaurant. We had an even better experience. Still got the loveboat for 2, but it comes out on a cute wooden boat. The presentation is just as good as the food. And the service was amazing. Our server was super friendly, bubbly, and great at recommending things. Ive never had sake and really enjoyed the one she recommended. Its a sparkling sake. As a former server....the way she served us was how fine dining restaurants serve their customers. She refilled our drinks constantly and poured the sake and beer for us so we rarely touched the bottle. She bowed and said thank you everytime she left. She made us feel welcome, like an old friend. Dessert is also amazing we always get the green tea icecream and mochi. Id like to add, from your seat you can see them working on to go orders....they handle them with care. Also they have hand sanitzer at each table. And a picture menu of all the sushi so you're not left guessing. They really think of every detail and care about customers and their experience. Only down side for me....she never asked if i wanted more sake, but got my boyfriend...

Eat in & enjoy their excellent service; i can tell they’ve become a popular pick-up destination, but, because of how delicious their food is, right after it’s been prepared & presented, i think those people are missing out …

if you don’t already know; this small Japanese restaurant, sandwiched between a Subway, and some-kind of Mini-Mart, off busy Brookpark Rd has, quite possibly, the BEST SUSHI in the entire Cleveland area, and you may be in for a very nice surprise.

Their dining area’s clean, but not fancy, however, the Maki, Temaki & Sushi rolls, specialties, dinners & Bento lunches are absolutely top-tier.

If you don’t know exactly what you might want to start with, ask Emily, or any of the other wonderful staff… they won’t steer you wrong.

I’ve had memorable awesome dates here ( hot sake! ), and also great family meals; my son likes to try something new every time, and after every new combo he discovers a new “favorite” …

I don’t really mind if this fantastic restaurant remains a hidden Cleveland gourmet “secret”, selfishly i don’t want it to get so busy i won’t be able to get a table, but, honestly if you ask me, Mizu is head & shoulders superior to other fancy, overpriced supposedly authentic Oriental eateries.

The food here is really fresh, the Crab Rangoons are excellent, the menu is loaded with choices, and after a decade of eating here i can honestly say everything i’ve had...
