I have ordered a small landscape design project. In a few hours one of the workers called me to collect the payment. She said that someone is going to contact me tomorrow to discuss the details of the project. I didn't hear a word from the company and decided to send them an email to address my needs. Nobody asked me a question about what I want, how I want it and etc. In a few days I asked them to update me on the project but they just replied that they will be working for 2 weeks and then will get back to me. I was surprised that they didn't contact me to work on this together and to find helpful info for completing this project. They sent 3 pictures as a result if their work. But it didn't look like the design at all. I am sure that any middle school student can do the same. The quality of work was below average. I tried to address my concerns but I was said that they did a great job and they are confident about their concept. I asked for a refund because I can't use it, I don not see they are capable of doing this kind of job, and also I see that the quality of work is poor. They said that the payment is non-refundable but when I requested the service, they collected the money, they didn't mention this. Unfortunately, it was a bad experience and I am not going to be their client anymore. This is a bad way to treat the clients and build a...
Read moreAfter purchasing and redesigning a small landscape project with an approximate materials cost of approximately 1300. 00, some of the plants showed signs of stress or failure within two weeks. I called and was told to ensure that base watering was being done. Reminded client of taking such action which was confirmed. One plant looks ok and one is totally dead. So at week 3 I return to garden center where for the first time I am told of the policy that the client has to pay 50 pct of the replacement value and yet had they dug the whole and planted they would replace for free? All of the plants are doing well as are trees and shrubs in the job. Covering 50 percent of the cost if it dies within thirty days is wrong. Happy they stand behind the product they sell and charge you if the product they sell fails. Soil conditions with two plantings 4 ft or closer very unlikely including another identical shrub which is growing. I was told they are not one of the box stores. Well step up and take the following actions. Post your policy in store and with receipt and other provided information. When recommending plant thoughts and discussing conditions be sure you stand behind your suggestion. When things die that fast it is likely not the water. It was an issue at week two and if you provide delivery you picked the specific plant I only...
Read moreAlways a great experience from the Cerbo family. They provide guidance/knowledge from three generations of experience. Many local municipalities use them. They are a great Community Resource. They host the local farmers market, they run a CSA. They stock excellent quality products and can order anything for projects.
Over the past 20 years they have helped me with multiple projects, small to large. Most recently they have helped with selecting the right plantings for soil management along the Waters edge. They have stood behind every plant that failed and worked to determine why before just putting a replacement in the same place. They helped to design/layout two gardens (20x10 and 100 x 100) which have done beautifully over the years.
For year over year maintenance they always provide excellent advice and ensure we only use phosphate free product in our area.
Each year they are learning about new veriatial (sp?) of plants and expanding on what they offer commercially as well as what they grow locally.
We love going up to the property in Sussex and cutting down our tree.
Just a fantastic multi-generational locally...
