This is my honest and unbiased review of Paul Miller Porsche based on my first hand experience.
Please draw your own conclusions.
My review is based on principle, ethics and making things right.... At the end of day that's what matters. Mistakes happen employees dropping the ball from time to time ... but taking accountability and being judged on making things right is The Honorable thing to do.
I have spent approximately 2 weeks going back and forth trying to get resolution . Used car manager never returned my phone call. So I was compelled to put this out there.
The finance officer tried to sell me an extended warranty and tried to tell me the vehicle did not have any warranties.Ā I had done my homework and knew otherwise,Ā I asked himĀ probably four times thinking it is maybe a mistake. His reply no warranty.
HeĀ took the time to show me the top of the window sticker which in fact was only 3 years 36,000 mile bumper to bumper. I clearly asked him again are you sure there's no warranties yes no warranties ...I said the vehicle comes with it Paul Miller 6 month 6k warranty. Right? He replied Yes...
Then I had him scroll to the bottom of the window sticker he's the very last line shows that the vehicle still has a balance of two years 40,000 mi factory powertrain warranty....Ā He repliedĀ yes... HisĀ demeanor changed and not in a positive way or apologetic way . I was shocked.
I feel their used car Peace of mind inspection is not worth the paper it's printed on . The first day I took my Jeep on the highway I literally almost lost control of the vehicle. Took Jeep to a Jeep dealership steering box needs to be replaced and computer reprogrammed. And here we are today no resolution. This isn't even a warranty issue this is a safety issue. Then the first day it rained my back wiper did nothing. Lol š really.
Now I need to question The credibility of the carfax report.... Decided to cut through Paul Miller Rolls-Royce and Bentley dealership andĀ my surprise I couldn't believe they're doing body work on high-end cars outside parking lot .... Spraying automotive paint through a (air compressor air powered paint gun ) with no paint boothš¤
Having a background in automotive and a good friend of mine owning an auto body shop I amĀ familiar with some of the oasha, epa , state, town licensing and New Jersey motor vehicle Commission laws and regulations. I decided to interview the worker.. The worker was completely polite transparent honest. He did tell me he was a Paul Miller employee not an independent contractor and the painting van was not registered to him but registered to Paul Miller.
At this point I'm only going to post my last question to him because this is what made me feel the Carfax report could be questionable based on my observations and questions I asked.
My other questions and answers needs to be confirmed to be factual will update this at a later point in time.
(Q) Do you or Paul Miller report these Auto body repairs to an insurance company or to a Carfax reporting agency?
(A) No
I'm just happy my purchase was just a $40,000 Jeep can imagine how pissed I would be if it was Bentley , Rolls-Royce...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWomen beware, Porsche in Parsippany, NJ, does not treat you with the same respect as they would a male. The Porsche experience was not what I expected. Do not purchase your vehicle here. They do not value their paying customers.
I purchased a brand new Macan with a wire transfer(Cash) and received zero customer service.
On the delivery day, they were 45 minutes late and wanted to show me how to operate the vehicle in the dark. I declined that service and informed them I would make an appointment during my next available time. I was unable to reach the person since November 24, 2020. I called several times and spoke with several individuals such as Nina on the 15th and Stephanie and Higgins (Service Manager) on the 16th. They all promised to relay the message to the only person who could help Zack. (Unbelievable)
After calling a fourth time and reaching the Pre-owned Manager James P (I purchased a new vehicle), he stated he would discuss my issues with the people involved. My Sales dealer, Cliff S., sent a texted message (I guess they now have to create a paper trail) acknowledging he was unaware of the issues I was having. I had to remind him that I reached out to him and talked about the squealing brakes (he told me that was normal and that should go away.) The squealing brakes are still present a month later. Also, I requested a copy of my bill of sales (receipt ). He suddenly remembered we talked about that, and it is December, and I do not have proof of purchase except for the title I have in my possession.
Zack finally was available from November 24, 2020, to December 23, 2020. He was able to answer the questions I had. He also gave an email address and said I could reach him there anytime. (I guess he also has to create a paper trail) I have read he gives out his telephone number, which I do not have.
Also, the vehicle needs to be programmed by the dealer. (Nothing I could have done on my own.)
Had someone returned my telephone calls and had my sales dealer given me basic customer service, I would not have to write this review.
I finally received my purchase information as of December 29,2020z
Horrible experience for the price I paid. I will be purchasing my daughter's graduation gift from another...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI will never purchase a vehicle from Paul Miller again, used or new. Itās clear their priority is to get cars moved off the lot and sold as quickly as possible, no matter what. They knowingly sold me a āCPOā vehicle with a malfunctioning safety system in September, which when I directly asked and raised a concern about the safety system to multiple individuals, I was dismissed. I was assured numerous times the car was safe to drive, even though multiple safety lights were lit up on the dash, and my VIN was listed with an open recall for the exact issue. Iāve been getting the go around since September, that Paul Miller still didnāt have the parts in to fix the car. I finally gave up and took the car to two other dealerships (after months of driving it around) for additional opinions. Low and behold, turns out Paul Miller sold me the car against both federal law and a Porsche legal notice. If I had gotten into an accident, the passenger airbag would not have deployed, and the person in that seat could have been killed. Beyond that, theyāve also lied to me, and led me in circles for MONTHS over this issue. I made accommodations for them to come pick up my car multiple times, and no one ever showed. I took the car to another dealership, and they had the entire matter resolved in four days. They offered me a loaner vehicle, as my car was not legal or safe to drive, something Paul Miller never even offered me. This other dealership also discovered my vehicle was never registered with Porsche as a CPO, and has absolutely no 2-year warranty attached to it. This has been an absolute nightmare of an experience dragged across 4 months, I will not be purchasing another Porsche, nor any vehicle from the Paul Miller...
