I had an extremely disappointing experience at the Alo store in Pasadena. I went in to exchange some items and try on new pieces, but the associate in the fitting room, Maddie, displayed shockingly poor customer service.
When I walked into the fitting room area, I was the only customer there, yet she did not acknowledge me at all. I asked if I could try the clothes on, and she said nothing—just opened the fitting room for me without any response. Later, I asked for a different size, and again, she silently grabbed it for me without so much as a word.
When I finished, I asked where I should leave the items I didn’t want. She ignored me completely. I thanked her twice on my way out, thinking maybe she hadn’t heard me, but she continued to ignore me.
This experience was beyond frustrating. Alo’s management should ensure their associates embody the brand’s values and show basic courtesy to customers. Drove to the store 2 hours later and talked to 3 different associates. They couldn’t locate my order. Asked to see my email 5 times. After 30 minutes of waiting (mind you this order was “ready”), they said they found it. Waited another 10-15 mins, while they packed it because I could clearly see them grabbing a bag and then had to confirm the item again. Gave me the most sorry “I’m sorry” gift.
