I had an extremely disappointing experience at the Alo store in Pasadena. I went in to exchange some items and try on new pieces, but the associate in the fitting room, Maddie, displayed shockingly poor customer service.

When I walked into the fitting room area, I was the only customer there, yet she did not acknowledge me at all. I asked if I could try the clothes on, and she said nothing—just opened the fitting room for me without any response. Later, I asked for a different size, and again, she silently grabbed it for me without so much as a word.

When I finished, I asked where I should leave the items I didn’t want. She ignored me completely. I thanked her twice on my way out, thinking maybe she hadn’t heard me, but she continued to ignore me.

This experience was beyond frustrating. Alo’s management should ensure their associates embody the brand’s values and show basic courtesy to customers. Experiences like this make customers feel unwelcome and discourage them from returning. This encounter has left me reconsidering whether I want to shop...

Avoid this place Came in for a return due to the poor material they use on their leggings. Lady at counter initially said return/refunds are easy, the payment would go back to card if you can show proof it was charged to your cc. Ashley then steps in and says, well provide your email, phone number also as if they were advertising a promotion bonus they get for new customer sign ups. I filled in all that nonsense detail and then they said well...we can't find your order, im like duh? You made me sign up just now. So then she asks if i have a receipt, i told her no, they never gave me a receipt. Then they said you can't make a return. So now i got to dispute with my credit card. Wow! If I never shopped here before, I definitely never will after the experience I had today. I placed an order for pickup and received an email stating it was ready. Drove to the store 2 hours later and talked to 3 different associates. They couldn’t locate my order. Asked to see my email 5 times. After 30 minutes of waiting (mind you this order was “ready”), they said they found it. Waited another 10-15 mins, while they packed it because I could clearly see them grabbing a bag and then had to confirm the item again. Gave me the most sorry “I’m sorry” gift. Gesture appreciated, but this order was a gift for a family member. Needless to say, I will relay this info and also never consider...
