DXL Big + Tall — Local services in Pasadena

Coming from Riverside area I expected a lot more from this store in Pasadena. It is now 11:25. And I just walked out of the store after being inside looking around and NOT ONE PERSON greeting me, seeing if I need any assistance or so much of an acknowledgment. I invite any corporate/ management/ owner to please look over surveillance at this date and time 5-2-24 11:15 is to 11:25 so that maybe they can implement some better customer service guidelines.

I have never been to a DXL that completely ignored my existence while shopping. It’s hard not to notice me IM BIG! that’s exactly who DXL caters to.

Even to think that maybe I was stereotyped being a large Hispanic male in this store still blows my mind considering the clothes that I had on were harbor bay slacks and my Oak Hill dress shirt (both products purchased from DXL. Thinking someone would at least notice that and say oh he “does belong here”

So what was it? Was it Race? Did I look like I didn’t have money to spend? Was the store associate too busy to say hi? Was every person in the store more inclined with their personal conversations rather than giving good customer service? Either way all EXCUSES is what caused me to leave. I even hung around the window display for a brief moment to give the gentleman by the dressing room an opportunity to gain the business…….Nothing. Do better DXL. This is seriously why people look for other B&T stores to shop at. This was the first time I came here to the Pasadena store and I guarantee it will be the last time. I’ll stick with Covina and...

Wow, wow, wow! Philip at the DXL Pasadena location is spectacular. My parents raved about him after visiting the store previously, but I got to meet him myself and I see why they were saying “we hope Phillip is working today!” Haha, I get it! He helped our family one-on-one, to find a beautiful formal suit for a wedding we are attending next month. Phillip is hands-down fantastic. I am a shorts type of guy. Any weather i am in shorts. So my brother decides he is taking me out to dinner for my birthday. Specifies casual elegance. This means no shorts. Went to DXL and talked to one of the guys there. Shorts come in xl sizes 1 to 8 but slacks come in inches. So I had no idea what size to get. We talked about my shorts size and he grabs a pair of slacks off the wall and says try these on. They should be close to what you need and we can go up or down depending. Tried them on and they fit perfect, both waist and length. He got me a dress shirt and a belt and I was good to go in under 10 minutes. Great service and a good selection of various...
