Upon arriving everyone is given a unique hand stamp which is verified when you leave to make sure families always come and leave together. Chuck E. Cheese has games for different age groups, there is a Toddler Zone, Kiddie Area and Skill Games & Arcades for older kids like me. This location has a lot of games and they actually work. There is an area for parties and you can watch Chuck E. and his band perform on stage. Chuck E. also walks around and throws tickets up in the air for kids. After playing, feed your tickets in the Ticket Muncher, it counts how many tickets you have, prints out a receipt and then you can redeem the tickets for prizes.
Food They serve pizza, buffalo wings, hot dog, chicken nuggets, sandwiches, salad and desserts, etc; there is also an ice cream machine. We like to eat the pepperoni and cheese pizza, fries and buffalo wings. I ordered the Gluten Free pizza and cupcake, I personally didn't like it. The salad bar area is messy and the selection is limited.
Experience Fruit Ninja, my daughter loves slicing those fruits on the big screen. She has a lot of fun with the Jumper Fantasy she has to jump over the light and the speed increases as she jumps. I like listening to music so I enjoy playing Guitar Hero especially if I'm playing to my song! Super Shot a basketball game that you throw the basketball in the hoop as the backboard moves depending on the game mode you choose (classic, continuous, push back and random). It can be tiring especially when I play over and over again which I always do. I'm a competitive mommy and like to see who makes the most shots (not with my little but with an adult)! She knows I love playing Super Shot so she plays the Street Hoops, same concept but made for kids. It's fun to play the Slam A Winner, you time the ball to drop and see which hole it lands into; we always hope it lands in the hole that gives the most tickets. Super Bonus, the light keeps going around in circles and you press the button to stop the light. They also have Air Hockey, my competitive mode turns on but my daughter still wins! We also like playing the Heat NOS Street Racing. The game is live so we played with other people from other locations. It takes a picture of you, pick a car then choose the location. You can press the NOS button I think three times per race.
Customer Service It could be better.
Rating 3 Stars for the food and customer service. 4 Stars for the games.

Read moreOn 9-8-19 we went to Chuck E Cheese at the Pasadena location to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. We were greeted with our host and she describe the whole process to me. I then told her I also have a gift card and she asked me to hand it to her which I did. To make the story short, we had a wonderful time and everything was going perfect. After our 2 hours were up, I went with our host to the cashier to pay for the bill. I reminded our host to make sure our gift card is processed and I’ll pay the remaining balance. Our host gave me the bill and I paid her in cash, plus I also gave her $25 in tips. When I went back to our table to review the bill, I noticed the gift card was never processed and the gift card never returned back to me. I went back to our host and asked why the gift card was not processed. The host told me it was processed in the Chuck E Cheese system but it just won’t show up on the bill. I had a hard time believing her story so I asked again and she told me the same story. Then I asked her to give me back the gift card so I can go home and figured out what’s happening.
On 9-11-19 I went back to the same Chuck E Cheese location to speak to a manager. I gave the manager the gift card to see if there’s any remaining balance. The manager told me the gift card had the full balance and it was never used. This confirmed my suspicion of the host. She was trying to scam me and steal my gift card. I told the manager exactly what happened. The manager wrote down my name and phone number and told me she would pass this up to the General Manager. I was told I should be receiving a call. As of today, I have not receive a single phone call. I would like someone to contact me from your company. You have an employee that made a fool out of me and is scamming your guest. I even contacted their guest relation. It’s been over 1 month and I have not heard a single thing from this location or the corporate office. This is quite upsetting to me that they’re allowing their employees to do this to their customers. I’ll give them 1 more month to contact me before I file legal papers and take them to court for fraud.
{this review was from 2016} I give it 5 stars mainly because my child has a great time. I rate it by how happy my baby was by the whole experience. as for me, I'm way too old...
Read moreFirst time at this location and I was definitely expecting a decent time. I'm only giving this a 2 star because I was refunded for food/beverages only. Although I spent $160 & was only refunded half!
Arriving we ordered food, drinks, (3) sixty minute play cards & found a table. We ate a bit because our child obviously wanted to go play (where a kid can be a kid). Leaving the table we left trash piled up nicely and aside we left our newborns baby food, baby spoon, baby blanket, a lot of pizza and our drinks. Common sense we weren't leaving yet. Mind you our baby blanket, baby spoon, baby food was completely new. We walked away for 5 minutes to watch our son play and within those 5 minutes our table was wiped out completely. Every item I mentioned was thrown away. Literally thrown away.
We asked the guy on the floor why was our table wiped off? We just got here. He stated that the manager told him every table needs to be cleaned no matter what. I then asked for the manager, she was offering to go in the trash & pulling out our items so she can clean it as much as she can just to return it back to us. What the heck?! She leaves and returns stating that it was already thrown out to the dumpster, so they can't be returned. I don't think that's true, I believe our items were found but damaged already or she just didn't check. Which I didn't want the items after all anyway. So she did offer to reorder our food, we declined and wanted a refund but she still gave us the food. The food wasn't even what we ordered in the first place. But I guess she tried.
Not happy at all! It was a bigger location but the customer service sucked. They shouldn't make their customers feel like they should rush out considering how much money we do spend.
As we were exciting the scanner wasn't working to check our hands for matching numbers with the family. Doesn't seem safe! That is why every time my child goes to play, I go with him. Our children's safety should always be taken into consideration...
