I cannot say enough wonderful things about Manager Steve at Hobby Lobby in Pasadena, California. He truly went above and beyond to ensure my aunt felt completely comfortable and confident about getting the perfect frame for her delicate diamond art. Knowing how important and fragile the piece was, Steve took the time to explain that the framer in the picture frame department would be in the next day and would take special care of her project.
What impressed us most was not just his knowledge, but his genuine kindness and attention to detail. He reassured us every step of the way, letting us know that if we needed anything at all, he would personally make sure we were taken care of. It is rare these days to find someone so accommodating, thoughtful, and professional.
Thanks to Steve, my aunt left feeling excited and at ease, knowing her artwork would be handled with the care it deserves. Hobby Lobby is lucky to have such a dedicated managerāhe sets the standard for customer service. If you ever visit, look for Steveāyou will be in the best...

Sitting in the parking lot after another poor experience- Itās clear the company doesnāt invest in proper training or systems. They donāt use a traditional inventory system, and the lack of employee support is obvious. The experienced staff handle inventory or stocking, while new, untrained employees are left to manage the frontāoverwhelmed with lines and frustrated customers.
As a customer, the result is long wait times, checkout errors, and an overall chaotic, unpleasant experience.
The companyās refusal to invest in its employees or systems makes the customer experience an absolute joke.
To add to the experience- Upon arriving home I see that they overcharged me by 9 items! I cannot reach them by phone and donāt understand how you can miscount and overcharge by 9⦠at some point it just...

However, my recent experience with cash register and store manager was less than pleasant. The clerk would not accept Apple Pay and I even spoke to the manager and the excuse was "the store is old school".
Another visit 11/19/24 - We want to love the store, but the management is just lacking. Waited 18 minutes in line. The clerk works at snails pace and in this day and age no scanner, he is hand keying in every item. In the meantime, two supervisors hovering the check out area not realizing it may be a good idea to open up another checkout line? Again very disappointed. So, took my two stars down...
