Modernism Furniture — Local services in Pasadena

We had been looking at all the usual big name stores for a new couch, but on a whim decided to visit Modernism Furniture to see what they had to offer. We quickly found a couch we loved at a great price. My partner wanted it in a different color, and Nelson (the owner I think) brought us 3 enormous fabric stacks to choose from. She found the perfect color and we ordered the couch. A few weeks later, earlier than expected, the couch arrived! It's extremely comfortable and the custom fabric choice is beautiful. I am moving, and have to buy some new furniture despite the COVID shutdowns. I'm so happy to have found Modernism Furniture!! It was amazing to be able to actually see and feel the furniture I was interested in before buying it. They also have a huge selection of product from catalogs they can order for you, or they can work with their vendors to make custom pieces. Not only was I able to get the EXACT item I found and liked online for a cheaper price, I loved being able to support a mom and pop shop instead of ordering from an online megastore. This place has changed hands a few times over the past few years, but I'm a huge fan of the newest owners. The furniture selection is huge and diverse - from modern to eclectic, they have great choices that are always worth rummaging through.

We got a pair of couches, a huge mirror, a handmade wooden dresser, and some amazing wall art.

I love their collection of art from local artists!
