Went to Pasadena Jewelers solely based on extensive research on Google for best repair shop (locally). Had three items to repair: 1. 14K Italian gold necklace (more than 60 years old and given to me by my mom) needed a new clasp, 2. sterling silver lariat-style RLM Studios necklace needed new clasp for pendant, and 3. Gold-toned sterling silver contemporary earrings from German Kabirski needed polishing, as the gold tone had started to oxidize. I met Peter Danayan, the store manager, and explained what I would need. He was very cordial and professional. He offered two options for the gold clasp, said how he would fix the sterling silver clasp, and that he would see how best to clean and polish the Kabirski earrings. He asked if the following day would work for pick-up (fast!), but I had time so picked everything up the following week. Everything was ready to go (I called in advance) and looked beautiful. Exactly what I wanted! Price for all three services was $240. Parking in back is off the street or alleyway - there are 10-12 spaces - and Peter's store is in a market mall (which is also excellent). His jewelry and watch selection looked amazing (but I promised hubby no more jewelry!). Overall very good experience and I will come back when I have other jewelry for repair....

Pete changed out the band on my grandmothers watch which was very old and bothered my wrist so I was never able to wear it. He was so kind and helpful, and charged me a great price.
