Hello, my partner and I were here broken looking for a new cat friend and we met a couple of small furry babies but the one we really were looking forward to was Knitty. We applied and had money in pocket. We were waiting to hear back from this company and the foster parent of Knitty, Gwendolyn hung out with us and gave a very good sales pitch. Weāre were sold on Knitty.
Today someone claiming to be some kind of coordinator emailed us (not even a call) and told us they were āconcernedā about supervised outside time on a small leash. We were told that due to this we were not allowed to adopt Knitty.
Now, we are transsexual women and to be frank I feel like this was part of why we were denied.
To anyone in a minority group looking to come to this business learn from our lesson. GO TO THE HUMAN SOCIETY. THESE PEOPLE JUST JERKED MY WIFE AND I AROUND AND WHEN WE WERE DENIED THEY NO LONGER COMMUNICATE OR EVEN TRRIED TO WORK WITH US. They gave us the run around. Also donāt pay 40 dollars for 2 people to go see cats were were never going to be considered for in the first place. These cats do t need your love ā¤ļø go rescue a cat from a kill shelter . Itās cheaper and they dont gate-keep cats from people they āConsiderā incapable of caring for a cat.
To the owners or whoever of this business : thanks for nothing . Weāve been cat parents for nearly 20 years and your company really missed a good home for Knitty. We were insulted by your reasonings for denial and if Knitty is still up for adoption we would ABSOLUTELY love to proceed with adopting her. Thank you and have a nice...

They offer a selection of activities in the lovely room where they house the cats so you can hang out with them and see who you really bond with. Their care of the cats is warm and loving so you never feel pressured to make a choice and its clear from the happy cats all around that this is a terrific place for them. A friend of mine has gotten multiple cats here and they are all so well socialized that they transitioned seamlessly into her home. This is a super fun spot whether you are looking for a kitty or just like to hang out with them, and the various classes and activities are fun for the whole family. What...
Ā Ā Ā Read morePros: Cats are well taken care of. They know each of them and their needs well. Great place to come visit and get to know cats before you adopt. All cats are adoptable. The cats are very sweet and loving. They want to play and receive pets.
Cons: It's not really a cat cafe. They sell bottled drinks at the front but don't make any drinks. The smell when you first walk up is strong! I've only been once so I don't know if a cat sprayed the front just before. Once you walk in you get used to it.
I'd describe this place as a no kill cat shelter where you can pay to play with the cats. It's definitely a good...
