It was my second time there because the first time I had no issues, I dealt with a man which I'm assuming was the owner and transaction went smooth but today the attendee was a female which I'm assuming was his wife, she gave me the price for a Shrimp w/Broccoli which is $8.75 and I gave her my card, she asked me what sauces I wanted, they usually at any Chinese restaurant they'll give u, 3 of each, hot sauce, soy sauce and duck sauce plus napkin (1) and a fork but as I always do I tell them keep all the sauces, including your napkins and fork etc and give me 10 duck sauce instead, that's what I always need and always order the same. She didn't say anything she gave me the food and I was on my way. When I got home I checked the receipt by accident (I never do) and realized she charged me $1.00 for the duck sauce, now I now is not a lot of money but the fact she didn't say anything and no where on the menu nor in the restaurant a note stating that there's an extra charge for any extra sauce and this only happens to me in certain Chinese restaurants, for that reason I'll never go there again and I'm also going to contex that charge when I call my...
Read moreI had a very disappointing and upsetting experience at this place. For the first time I ordered an item from the menu, and at no point was it made clear that it contained pork. As someone with a dietary restriction and a documented allergic reaction to pork, I was shocked to find out only after receiving and checking the food. When I politely brought this to the owner’s attention and asked if I could exchange the item for something else, I was met with hostility and complete disregard for my concern. Instead of handling the situation with understanding or professionalism, the owner was extremely disrespectful and told me he would not do anything for me. He outright refused to work with me on a resolution. Food allergies and dietary needs are serious and should be treated with care and respect. The lack of transparency in the menu and the owner’s response were both unacceptable. I would strongly caution others—especially those with dietary restrictions or allergies—to be very...
Read moreThe food I received was not very good at all. Chewy gummy chicken, hard dry wontons with barely any filling, and flavorless pork fried rice. The only reason I’m still giving them three stars is just because the owner is a really nice guy and I’m sure he means well also the food was still edible… But as a side note, what I do really like about this place is how they put their children’s artwork up on the walls. It shows me they have a very close knit family business. I know it’s minor and irrelevant when rating a restaurant but something like that has a very touching humanizing quality that you don’t normally see in your average run-of-the-mill Chinese food place. So I wish the best for this family but they need to work on the food quality a...
