OK, let me start this review by saying this: Can you hear me now Verizon corporate office?
I found out today that different Verizon stores are not corporate stores and Verizon instead of ensuring that those stores comply with their so-called quality and control and most importantly, customer service and professionalism Verizon is only concerned about making sure that they get paid from that non-corporate stores using their name. That being said, this store "LOCATION" needs to teach Verizon exactly what Verizon stands for.
I went to the store located in Smyrna, Georgia 2450 Cobb Parkway. You have been warned! Stay away from this non-corporate store. This store is night and day between Peachtree and their location.
I believe my personal credit card information was copied at this store and if it wasn’t, it was attempted. They are so unprofessional at this location. A phone was mailed to me from the Verizon store and I took it to this store located in Smyrna Georgia. This location assigned me A new phone number without my permission and worse yet lost all my text messages and voicemail voicemails. Although the Peachtree store is not a corporate store either, they run them self and demonstrate to customers that they are mimicked like a corporate store. Maybe they should call themself the Verizon corporate store because that’s exactly how I was treated in this store.
Fortunately for me, I met Mr. Richard, Joseph, and his trainer Scott, and all my troubles were taken away. First, let me tell you when you walk into the store you can tell that you’re walking into a store that mimics professionalism. I can’t say that they mimic Verizon because Verizon is allowing the Smyrna store be the way they are and that is an unprofessional entity. Verizon is allowing the Smyrna store to be the way they are and that is an unprofessional entity.
This store the Peachtree store when you walk in all the employees are dressed basically the same in uniform meaning that they’re wearing professional gray slacks blue shirts, and you could tell their educated very educated very professional in the cell phone business. That’s what you need as a customer when you walk through those doors. Richard, the employee who helped me was able to get all my data back and he was also able to get my original phone number back. This guy needs to be transferred if he chooses to take a transfer to the Smyrna store fire every employee in there and change the store to the way that he runs the store where he is currently working. I hope Verizon the corporate office hears this message reads this message and takes away the name that is being used to lure customers in the Smyrna store and closes that store down or has someone like Richard and Scott run that store. That’s all I have to say and I appreciate what Richard did and if you had more employees like him running Verizon stores, you would not have bad ratings. But I give this store if I could A 10 star...
   Read moreI received a phone that was shipped to me when bought Friday and received Saturday. The box and phone were in perfect condition and the phone is insured. I took it to the Verizon in Sandy Springs on Monday to get my old phone to be switched over from T Mobile to Verizon.
This is the first time the phone left the box. The phone was transferred over but soon after i discovered that the camera wasn’t flipping. I contacted apple support and did all the trouble shooting and diagnostics and they told me it was a hardware issue.
I called several different stores including the Peachtree corners location and they ALL confirmed that I would be able to take it to a store that was cellular sales and get it exchanged for a new one because it has been less than a week since the phone was purchased. So i went to the store told Ronald all of this, including that it was already confirmed to be hardware. He came back and told me that unfortunately he couldn’t exchange this particular phone and i asked why, because id spoken to someone just 30 minutes earlier that confirmed I could. He told me that it just wasn’t something he could do and I would have to take it to the Apple Store. I asked if i needed to get it in within the week time period and he said, no, but he suggested i get it in as soon as possible so that they couldn’t try and say it was damaged and make me pay for it. So Ronald acknowledged that the phone was not damaged.
I left the store and made an appointment with Apple. My mom, the owner of the account called the store because she was confused why they would tell me to come there if they couldn’t exchange it, and the woman she spoke to on the phone was very rude to her and tried to tell her that the phone had been damaged in shipping and that’s why i couldn’t exchange it? But the phone is insured? So was the shipping? And the phone isn’t damaged? It’s been out of the box one day. Here are pictures of my not damaged phone for reference.
