We visited the Spanish service with family. I absolutely loved it. My 2 year old had an amazing time - she's still talking about it 2 days later! They are very serious about child safety and security which was so nice to be worry free during the service. One of the pastor lead us in communion exactly as Jesus did - she didn't add or take away anything which is so important. Every other church I've visited lately tells you to examine yourself for sin first - which is not biblical. The message was relevant and uplifting, focused on God's grace and reminding us that we are under the new covenant and not under law. I wish we lived closer, this would be my home church! Read moreChris Hodges is an awesome pastor, I always get something out of his messages because he integrates real world stuff and comedy into his message and it's very easy to follow but has depth at the same time. This next part has nothing to do with the spiritual aspect of things but is just a personal observation/opinion of mine. We normally go to the Riverchase campus and sit as close as we can to the sound board for the best sound (I used to run sound for my youth group in Jr Highand High School days). The further to the side you get, the worse the sound is and sometimes hard to hear the full range of instruments and vocals during the music/praise portion, the message is clear though.
