Pub 261 — Restaurant in Pelham

I give a five star rating only because of the friends and memories of singing kareoke with Kareoke Joe(Who I miss talking too there). If you want to have a better time without having to worry about nonsense, go to Blues and Brews right next door. Much better atmosphere.

That being said, it has been over 3 years since the absolute false rumors were started about me by who knows? Last time I was in Pub 261, was having a great time with friends I haven't seen in awhile, this was THREE YEARS AGO, rooting them on kareoke and they were doing the same for me. I paid my tab when I was leaving, said bye to everyone and Joe Kareoke as usual who I've known for 20 years.

I came back several days later and was stopped at the door and told that im banned. This was Three years ago and I've tried, in a very civil manner, to reach out as to why and have only been told im lifetime ban(friends of mine have told me and shown me of the HORRIBLY FALSE RUMORS about me as to why). I was a patron for many years. I didn't start a scene there, never been one of these people that was arrested there or anything. It's one thing to suspend someone, even over a false rumor, till the nonsense dies down. It's another to permanently ban someone UNJUSTLY. I know many reading this know who I am and maybe have even participated in the false rumoring. It's really character defamation as well and all I want is to come back and sing kareoke and mind my own business. Beware, I suppose, because youll just be banned for no reason if they are...

Went into this establishment with a large party to play bingo. We were treated great by our waitress, but as soon as the bingo callers locked eyes with our table we were met with malice. They only accommodate “regulars” and don’t welcome any new business during bingo night. The bingo callers, Matt and Crystal with “Alabama Blazin Bingo” are very misleading with their advertising and business practices. They advertise that everyone is welcome to come out and play and they advertise how much their “progressive jackpot” game has gotten up to (which was $5000 last night) and they don’t clarify that you have to have a “regular status card” to participate in the large bingo payout games. I’ve played bingo with Matt and Crystal on and off for a couple years and this wasn’t a rule until recently apparently because they want their ”friends” to win so they get a big tip. They used to have non-regulars come in and win the jackpot and one person left $200 as a tip on several thousand and they went around to other customers and complained about it. My boyfriend and I came in at 12, sat at the bar and then started playing Pool “like everyone else” and then we specifically was approached by HUNTER. and he told us we had to leave by 2am because it’s slow... so we politely said okay and we understand because it’s slow. So keep in mind it’s about 8 other people in here, and HUNTER walks over again at 2:30am and said okay guys make this your last game, I said “hey so what time do y’all actually close?” And he said “2am but the other people can stay because they are my regulars and I don’t know y’all” and I just said okay well we can be regulars to but not by kicking us out for no reason when you have 8 other people in here, we are just playing Poole .... it was wrong to tell us to leave when it’s other people in here playing Pool and is at the bar. We wasn’t hurting anyone, so we just left. And he had a attitude with us from the minute we walked in. We are regular lots of places and we have NEVER experienced this.
