Bad experience. Went to have items I bought a few days ago to be reduced since it was 60% off. One item was gift wrapped so I kept in the car just in case they needed to see the item . The cashier (Judith M.) told me since it wasnt a holiday item I couldn't get the percent off. She gave me many excuses for me not to get the reduced price. I then told her that I will return it, then get the item for the sale price and she told me I couldn't do that. I told her "I can" do that. I went to the manager after and he told me that I can get the sale price and not sure why the cashier told me different.And the fact that she's been working there for years.I went back with the wrapped item and told the cashier "per" manager, I can get the sale price. She asked me 3 times what the manager looked like ,( as if I was lying). I finally told her to call the manager since it seemed as if she didn't believe me. She hesitated then finally gave the sale price. Really!!! All this just to give me a reduce price on an item which was owed to me? And the fact that she lied and said I couldn't return it to get the reduced price. Even a child knows you can do that. The cashier (Judith M.) was hell bent on refusing to give me a reduce price even after I talked to the manager. A person like that is abusing her power and shouldn't be working there. First the girl in at register straight up no. Nothing like I’ll look it up on our computer or let me check in our system nothing. Just told me no. Then I explained to her please to try it’s for something important. Then she sighed and shouted at I guess the manager and asked “do we look for anything in the back” not explaining exactly what I needed or nothing. The lady answered no. What do they have in the back? I am not stupid you just don’t wanna check. Again without knowing what I was referring to or trying anything to help me. If you just don’t wanna do your job you shouldn’t be there. If your too lazy to look for something in the back then just say that. I’ve worked in stores before and of course there is always more inventory in the back. At least it’s worth to check or help the customer out by looking for the item at another store for example. Read more5 stars is not enough to rate the outstanding service I received today. I arrived around 6:20pm looking for a frame that required a custom-made mat which I need to bring to work early on Monday...so yes, rush! Luli from frame department at store #866 (Pembroke) saved my day, week, month! She explained me all options and went above and beyond with her service and impeccable work. I think she saw my panic face and decided to help me with the custom frame mat. But advised me that she was in training for that machine and if it didn't work, I needed to return at 9am tomorrow. She made the cut and it was PERFECT, finally was able to see my face stress free! Best part was the end when I gave her the picture and she saw where I worked. Luli mentioned that one of her daughter's friends & mentor worked there...turns out that person is my manager. Even more crazy, is that I had met her daughter & grandkids 3 months ago in a fundraising event where we spent all day together and had a great time. Luli, if you read this, please know you made my day, I'm so grateful I decided to wait for the custom mat and had that ending in our story today. That frame looks AMAZING. ...
