Such a bummer we had such a sour taste to our experience here after all the great reviews!!

I’ll make it short-ish - We were willing to overlook LOTS of things that happened to us here (waited loooong time for a table, the AC wasn’t working and was steaming hot, all the beers were luke warm, the food pacing was extremely rushed, and to top the cake, we got a whole tray of 5 drinks spilled literally on top of us, and I could actually go on and on…) BUT because we saw the potential here and were on a family dinner, we decided to take it all lightly and make the best of it..

Fast forward to a good time with the fam and great food, time to pay the bill comes - and the question arises on the table of, oh would they be nice and do something for us after all the struggles and getting literally rained on? I KID YOU NOT: the server comes with the check, MENTIONS THE TRAY FLIP INCIDENT AS A JOKE, and proceeds to review the check with us to make sure all items were there, which they were, and no gesture was made, so you can imagine how it got real awkward real fast… The fact that no manager / supervisor came over and maybe said something nice that could have possibly turn things for the better.

Now the saddest and tough lesson here, is that if we would not have been that cool and chill about everything and started complaining and actually made a scene when a tray of 5 drinks was dropped on top of us.. I am sure there would have been more than a gesture made and we would have been treated properly! I guess sometimes you could get more bees with vinegar than with with honey…

Great food, but save your Peruvian cravings for another restaurant who has it together, or at least until proper management in place??

**Disclaimer: The employee who dropped the tray on top of us was ABSOLUTELY LOVELY and apologized to us like 1,000 times and was literally the sweetest. This just goes above...

I’ve tried different locations (Sunrise and Boca Raton and loved it)

We started our late lunch with a Spanish Godello White Wine and it was just smooth with perfect temperature on the wine.

For appetizers: • Piqueo 3 Ceviche’s Mixto was delicious! The leche de Tigre one was perfect! All 3 were very good though. • Pulpo Anticuchero was perfect grilled and the anticuchera sauce on top was divine! Toda una delicia! • Conchitas a la Parmesana were my favorite every time I visit this restaurant! • Conchitas con mantequilla and herb were nothing out of this world.

For entrée: • Pargo Frito which was accompanied with Fried Yucca. Perfectly fried and tender on the inside. Yucca’s were delicious with your side green sauce. Huge fish too! • Fettuccine a la Huancaína with Lomo Saltado. First time anywhere in their locations steak was cooked perfectly medium. Huancaína sauce needs a little work as it tasted just like a Mac and cheese.

Dessert: • Sobredosis de Chirimoya with Suspiro Limeño on top was perfectly balanced.

Highly Recommended!

Ps. Waiter needs to pay a little more attention when customers ask for more water or items missing in our dishes. He forgot everything every...

What a lovely and unexpected experience! We had been to Embarcadero 41 at their location in Sunrise, and although the food was good, we did feel the hustle and bustle of a busy night. The service was good but nothing extraordinary, it always felt like they were too busy to spend more than the necessary time on us. But, my experience at the new location in Pembroke Pines was completely different!! First we had the pleasure of having Adolfo, from Spain, who came and advised us on the wine of the evening with such passion and knowledge yet in such a humbling and unassuming way. He steered us in the direction of a nice Godello wine, which went perfect with the amazing Pulpo Anticuchero, the Piqueo 3 Ceviches Pescado, and Láminas de Atún Acevichadas! All exceptional in taste and far superior to the Sunrise location. What made our evening better was our server Yatay! She was delightful, friendly and eager to make our experience a memorable one. The outdoor seating area was a plus! We will be back and will recommend to everyone we know.

We truly hope the new location doesn’t ever...

I normally go eat here since we are locals. sometimes its good sometimes its whatever. This time the food and service was not great at all. We had the grilled octopus which I found very salty and also the skin texture very gummy instead of nice and crisp which we did not eat and took home to see if we could recook but it will end up in the garbage because who has time for that. Then we ordered the maracuya dessert and we could not eat either because it was soooooo tart no balance at all served with tasteless bland cookies. The sever that took care of us which to me is the worst. (All the others are great) but if this server sees we are not eating our food he should ask if we are ok. But he is never around same things happened with dessert. at the end another server took our plate noticed we didnt eat it amd didnt care to ask if we wanted something else. Just disappointed that we always spend alot of money here and we bump into these issues that we never complain about but today is the day.

The food was fresh and delicious. A culinary experience showcasing the best of Peruvian and Nikkei cuisine. Positive feedback: •Food was fresh. •The waiters were informative about the menu and dishes. •Atmosphere was nice outdoors even in hot weather it felt cool. Well shaded. •The food was served quickly. Improvements: •Silverware should be placed at the tables before initiating the meal. We had to ask for them. •Pay more attention to food allergies. The first detail that should be asked before recommending dishes. •Too many times visiting the table hovering and rushing to retire dishes. •Our waiter recommended a dish, and I said I did not like an ingredient, and he insisted I needed to try it. I'm open to trying dishes, but if I don't like an ingredient or flavor, I will order something I will enjoy. •Allow customers to review the menu first and order beverages to allow time to ask questions and ask for suggestions. Felt like the chef's menu was un upsell focus. Items were all over $30.
