They automatically put you on hold, and don't answer after 15 minutes.
Okay, but your prescription is here and no other Publix will transfer it to their pharmacy because they're all busy it's just an awful organization.
I mean, when Bill O'Reilly identifies you as one of the four biggest rip-off grocery store chains in the nation, you know to stay away. He's conservative and it is supposedly a conservative company, so it show so bad it really is for him to do that.
Thanks for making us look like a bunch of greedy, careless fat cats. We already got enough bad rap from the liberal media. Change your ways Publix
Back to the pharmacy. So, you have to go here for your prescription because your doctor sent it there.
You call back and same thing happens LONG UNANSWERED WAIT. You call back several times until you interrupt the pharmacist, telling him you you have to wait.
Then he tells you it'll be ready at a certain time, right before they close.
But when you get there, it is not ready. Thankfully, nobody's there, so after a few minutes you get it.
This place is a joke. I'm not sure if it's staff or the management, but unless you have all the time in the world and you are NOT in pain, you may consider asking your doctor to prescribe your medicine...
Read moreI really like this Publix, but I am constantly disappointed with the pharmacy at Pembroke Commons. On August 9, I went to pick up my daughterâs prescription after her doctorâs appointment for an ear infection. They told me to wait 20â30 minutes, but when I returned, the medication still wasnât ready. When they finally tried to run the insurance, it wasnât going through. Instead of troubleshooting, the pharmacist (Noe) just told me to try another card. I even asked for the information printed so I could call my insurance, and it turned out all they needed to do was verify the insurance card ID was my daughterâs, not mine.
Because of this, I ended up paying $19.16 out of pocket for something that should have been covered. The pharmacist told me I could come back within a week after verifying with my insurance, but the lack of effort to resolve the issue in the moment left me very frustrated. This isnât the first disappointing experience Iâve had here, and itâs upsetting because my daughterâs medications are supposed to be covered at Publix. I wish the pharmacy staff would take more initiative to actually help instead of leaving the customer to...
