Called 4x, left a detailed message for someone to call me back with name/number. No call back. Called the 5th time someone named Nubreena took my order one week in advance (because I knew it would be busy for EID celebrations the following week, wanted no issues with my orders) had to repeat my order to her since she did not repeat my order to me, then ask her if she needed my phone number just in case there were any issues with my one week in advance order, she said oh yes what is your number. Called back 3 days later on a Saturday morning to make sure my order was intact and ready for pickup (didn’t get this persons name but she said yes it will be ready for pick up on Tuesday @3pm) decided to call back the morning of my order and spoke to the owner Alan to review my order and if it was possible to pick up at 2pm (one hour prior since I had to pick my son up from school out west) he said sure your order will be ready at 1pm. I said 2pm is perfect (that way it was realistic for my order to be ready for pickup since it was only an hour difference) I show up at 2:15pm, 15min in line, a young lady at the front (not friendly) asks “are you picking up” yes, gave my name and she disappears to the back of bakery 5min, comes to front and says something to another employee named Cindy and then starts helping her with her customers order and completely ignores me for another 5min, she never comes back to speak to me about my order. While standing there like a complete idiot waiting for the original girl to come back since that is the person I initially spoke with, Cindy comes to me 5mins later and ask me to step aside and says unfortunately your order isn’t ready. I placed this order one week ago, spoke to 3 different people previously to insure my order was ready. I asked why no one contacted me, she says she didn’t have my name or my phone number to reach me, all on a sticky note written like chicken scratch on the paper. Cindy says they had a ton of orders in the morning and the oven was filled, they couldn’t bake my items. I drove 30min to come, how long will it take, she says 2 hours. Asked to speak to the owner Najibi. Explained situation to her and she said they were baking all morning and the bakery ladies should have everything ready and this shouldn’t happen especially since I placed my order one week in advance. She asks who, what, when, why, and comes back and says she’s extremely sorry and embarrassed and no one wants to take the blame on who messed up this order. She continues to apologize and asked if I can please come back in 2 hours and says she will make sure everything is ready. I come back 2 1/2 hours later, lines are extremely long now that everyone is off from work and the day before EID (reason being why I placed my order one week before and why I asked for an early pickup time so I don’t run into a rush of people) waited patiently off to the side, Cindy made eye contact with me 4x and refuses to acknowledge me. I walked up while she was finishing up with a guest and ask to please ring me up after that transaction since this is my 2nd time back. She finally rings me up after waiting another 15min wait, tells me my total, throws bags on counter, didn’t not open the bags to go over what’s inside. I open my bags, the order was incorrect once again and 4 items missing. I asked what happened to those items and she says they don’t have it. After keeping my patience for this entire time after all of the back and forth and inconvenience, I was livid at this point! Another lady from the back walks out and says “we have your missing items” I said can you please package them for me since Cindy said they weren’t available. After shoving my 4 missing orders into 2 containers, I asked to please separate them since they are for 4 different households! Worse customer service I’ve ever encountered at a bakery, the ladies in the front are not welcoming and rude, zero customer service, no communication to each other! Great food with a very poor system! Being a business owner myself, this is unacceptable. Will never return!

Sheiks has been around for several years now and I'm glad it's still standing. The lunch specials are unbeatable - although if you are on a timed lunch scenario perhaps order ahead or go elsewhere, this is a loosely leisure lunch location meaning you'll be spending quite some time here between waiting to order and getting your food and perhaps even waiting for a table (snag a table and have one person go up to order to secure a spot) The doubles are delicious - although they have gotten skimp with filling and the sauces inside are only dabbed in center instead of drizzled over the chickpeas so you taste throughout all bites. The lamb biriyani was the least favorite of our orders this time around - the lamb was flavorful but a bit dry and the kids didn't enjoy fighting the meat off the bones. The roti bread itself is ALWAYS on point and a definite must to order a few to go. The lunch roti specials are just right - one of my kids had the chicken and highly enjoyed it. I always get the vegetable roti - they ran out of potatoes and they where highly missed in the wrap, wish they would offered to have substituted another veggie for the lack of potatoes. The goat roti was also very delicious and highly enjoyable. They were our of local made drinks which was a bummer since all the other options where sugary commercial drinks. Oh do try the house habanero sauce. If you can spare the time, definitely give Sheiks a try, possibly the yummiest West Indian food in Pines. The best recommendation I can share with the management is that the customer service can definitely improve (you can absolutely see preferential treatment towards the West Indian & Caribbean folks over others) - if someone not of aforementioned ethnic groups choose to bless your establishment by spending money there they should definitely get same treatment and food portions.

Very disappointing experience overall. Food was bland and their customer service is barely acceptable... Ordered 2 lunch specials (one roti and one with rice), bara, aloo balls, doubles, cheese rolls, mithai, a bottle of pepper sauce and two Nestle peanut punches... The chicken curry was beyond bland. The roti was undercooked (center was raw). The bara- bland. Aloo balls- powdered box potatoes and coated with the bara batter... 🙄 Didn't even have a hint of salt. We didn't eat/try the doubles because we were too overwhelmed by the exorbitant amount of money spent on such a disappointment... Let's stop here and not get into the extremely poor customer service...

Absolutely the best West Indian/ Caribbean cuisine south of the I-595 and north of Miami! This place is 100% legit and I would eat there everyday if I could!

Must try: Fried rice w/BBQ chicken, goat curry w/puri.

Prices: fair for the quality of food, except the pastries which are a bit small and over priced, delicious none the less.

Atmosphere: not the nicest place to dine in unless you want to grab something in a hurry and cannot wait to eat. Very warm inside, but not a deterrent, this place has amazing food. Good customer service. Can be slow at times especially around lunch and closing times.

In addition to cooked food they have a small grocery, fresh foods and frozen section, unsure of pricing but always seems to be well stocked.

They also do catering. Be sure to call ahead and place order, they can be a bit tardy but make up for it in customer service and food quality is stellar. Your guests will love it!

Make sure you check their hours of operation before going. Been caught a few times going there on Mondays only to find out they are closed on Mondays!

My only regret is not finding this...
