Would rank the service 0 stars if I could! I turned in my laptop in Thursday to Ms. Patty (the owner) was told they’d give us a call of the diagnosis later that day, which I did not , and had to call them. They then told us Friday that they still haven’t gotten to it (we only saw one other laptop other than ours when we turned it in) . Saturday, they called us to let us know they can fix it , in 2 hours , thank god!! But also let us know that the hinge on the laptop broke (which was not broken when we turned it in). Never got any call about my laptop being finished that day . Sunday they were closed. And today still no call so I went myself to retrieve my laptop. Hinge is literally completely broken, and they ( Derrick and Patty) expect me to still pay almost another $100 for them to fix what THEY broke. Not sure if they get bored there from not doing their jobs and start throwing the laptops around or as head rests while they’re clearly not doing anything . I work in the service industry and understand how customers can be tedious so I have patience for workers but when the communication skills are terrible, service SUCKS, and no one wants to do their job, there are other companies that can take my money. UPDATE Patty called my boyfriend and then her husband mike the owner snatched the phone out of her hand basically to start questioning and interrogating why he and I left the reviews. It was obvious that it was a poor experience with them why wouldn’t I? Anyways after Mike the owner or the owners husband or however it goes, finishes going back and forth and asking my boyfriend how he should run his business, says it’s “not about the money” and the “part is already on its way” they agree that after the service is completed the reviews will come down . Then a day later Derrick calls to inform us the offer isn’t on the table and that we need to take the reviews down before the “part is in”. Mike, the owner agreed to other wise so we stuck to the agreement we made with him. The part was supposed to be in the 17th-27th we had gotten no call. We called today and Derrick immediately hung up on us , then called again and he later said that they were no longer doing service with us . Read moreI brought my 27 inch 2011 iMac in due to white screen of death. I knew that my 1TB original HD was almost dead. I told them that on my first visit there, and also my 2nd visit and my 3rd visit before dropping the computer off to be look at. They told me it will be around $40 for diagnostic to find out why it has a white screen. I told them that I had downloaded everything on my new ssd hd that I had brought in with the computer but it still was not booting up and needed to know why. The backup was done off another computer using my time machine. So they told me they needed about 24 hrs before they could tell what’s wrong or the issue with the computer not booting up off the white screen. So I agreed to that. After a couple of days they called me back and told me that it would cost around $267.00 to get it running and that they would wave the $40 if I decided to have it fixed. When I asked to tell me what was the issue they found, Derrick could not tell me, he just said we can fix it. So I told them I would call the next day to let them know. I did not call I went to the store and picked up my computer, after asking them again what did they find the issue was, they told me it was the HD.. so they took the $40 just to tell me what I told them from the start that it was the hd but it wasn’t booting up. Read moreThe reason I am choosing to leave a one star review is simply for the lack of communication,carelessness, and empty promises. I had brought in my laptop for a blue screen of death, which i assumed would be a simple fix for a computer repair service. I had brought my Mac in to which i was greeted an serviced by derrick he had told me it would be a 40$ to inspect the issue to which i agreed, Derrick then assured me they would call me later that day to let me know what the issue was. Little did I know he actually was just lying through his teeth I didn’t get a call back for two days. I instead had to go in myself to see what was going on to where they told me it would be 200$ to fix my Mac without even really explaining what caused the issue with my Mac in the first place. I instead just took my Mac to Data Doctors to which they fixed the same day with a detailed explanation of what could have caused the original issue.
