I was really excited to come to Nyhus. The reviews were great so I drove the 60 miles from Fargo. We went on a Saturday and they were really busy. We waited forever to talk to someone about the vehicle we wanted to test drive and hopefully buy. We fell in love with it. The gentlemen who sold us the vehicle was helpful except every min or so, he grabbed the garbage can to spit in hit. It was icky but if that was the end of the issues there wouldn't be a review. Within 2 days of getting the vehicle, the check engine light came on. I called and they said to bring it in. I had to take an afternoon off of work and drive a 120 miles, for the Nyhus service center to turn the light off and was told to let them know if it came back on. I was told it was a sensor in the exhaust and sometimes it comes on. Are you freaking kidding me? When has anyone walked into a service center and told they shut it off and said to let them know if it comes back on?? The light was on the next day. It took them 5 weeks to get it in. They turned the light off again, replaced a valve cap or something. It cost me $100 plus missed work and mileage again. The light came on the next day. I decided to take it in somewhere else. They discovered that there was not enough oil in it to register on the dipstick. There are no oil leaks so no idea where the oil is actually going. Now, it will be going into a shop to find out what is actually wrong with it. So far I have lost wages and cost at $350 plus the wasted amount of time to drive there and back twice.

Read moreFrom my first look on the ads Nyhus had posted on Facebook Market Place, to a call from them asking about my interest of the vehicle I had viewed, then finding my needs and arranging a showing and test drive; they were friendly, professional and helpful. After the test drive and answering all the questions I had about the mechanical certification they do on the vehicles, there was no sales pressuring but made me aware that they wanted me to have no surprises with all steps laid out well. Since it was a late afternoon meeting, I told them I wanted to think about all the info they gave me. I expressed I was extremely impressed with the car, loved everything about it and would contact them in the morning. Still no pressure, just another confirmation to ask them any additional questions as I thought it over. My nephew told me that Nyhus had a good reputation for their honesty on vehicles and felt that for the low mileage on an older vehicle and I liked it, I should go for it. The final paperwork was a dream and to my surprise, they took care of tax and licensing so I didn't have to go do that. The friend who came along looked at the vehicles on their lot and is going to share my satisfied experience along to her daughter. Read moreI have purchased many vehicles but I honestly have to say I have never been treated so well before. First off I found a car on their website which was later in the evening so I put my request in for more information on the car. The very next morning Greg emailed and called me right away. We went over the details of the car and Greg did not inflate anything. He told me he would not do that. He went and checked the car over and gave me an honest answer to all my questions. We made the deal over the phone and I told him I would like to come get it that night. He told me when they close and I said I could not make it by then and he said no problem we will make it work and just call him when I'm getting close. I arrived two hours after they closed and he was waiting for me. He went home and came back all to make it convenient for me. I was shocked that he did that, and not only him but Nick came as well to get all the paperwork done. I got there two hours after closing and Greg says take your time test driving the car no rush at all. Needless to say I purchased the car on the spot. I will be purchasing my next vehicle there as well. Their customer service is absolutely amazing and because of that you just gained another customer.
