This is the only place I donate due to lack of options for the profit going to a good cause. However I do hope the volunteers learn to be a little more polite. Walking in near close & getting snipped at by a woman because you’re near closing is a turn off. There are politer ways to go about it. I told her I understood that before I walked in & I just wanted to get a quick glance around. During my 3 minutes before being shooed out she kept yelling at everyone inside the shop. Had my heart set on a 1920s tea set in which the sign had the price, when I took the sign to the register the employee said they were already sold. No apology, no explanation & no promptness for making things right with a very dissatisfied customer. I work alot & very rarely get to go "shopping" & enjoy myself. I will never return to lily pads and I sincerely hope the board in charge of overseeing the communication, customer satisfaction, and promptness of employees increases over this very unfortunately experience I had to encounter. Read moreSo I cleaned out my mother's closet since she passed away. Thought I would donate to somewhere that would help the local community. When I arrived I pulled up to the donation door. The first young man that came out was very nice and helpful. Then a woman came out and chastised me because I did not pull in the correct way. The directional arrows painted on the blacktop were under a semi trailer dropped in the lot.
