I'm so disappointed in the owners of this place. You know when you work for a job They expect a certain job educate . Respectfully so, you aim to please your bosses. But shouldn't that hold true for the owner as well. Shouldn't a boss have an obligation to be the best for his employees? Apparently not, God's shown my wife and I a new painful lesson on expectations of others. As well as learning how to recognize the true character of a person. Let me ask you this? If you the reader owned a restaurant would you allow a server to dictate the rules of the store. Would allow that person to make your weekly schedule without checking it? If you worked for a job for over a year , covering literally over 60 shifts that other employees called in, NEVER once ,not once calling in. Should you be offended if the owner cut you down to 1 day ,and told you it was to train new people. Does that seem right? How about some class, just a little Bit! At this point I was going to talk about all things they do wrong. Or the things they allow there staff to do. How as a previous General manager, service manager, server, exporter, and cook of places like Starbucks,Eggsperience, T.G.I.F, burger king, and couple other delis. How there whole operation is lucky to still be open. But I'm angry and it would be spiteful. Truthfully I'm far from perfect,My creditability to most is shot. And I'm on the outside looking in on a business that's maintained for a long time by doing it the way they do. So all I really care to say is this to the owner of 4 star and the rest you can chalk up as ranting. Mr.Ismet we've never lied to you, taken a dime from you that wasn't earned. We covered every shift you where short on. I don't get it maybe you thought we were lying. But Ismet I'm here to say I am seriously sick. I've lost 75 percent of my usage in my left leg, ,and my right is starting to have loss of functions. My grandma has an infection in her kidneys. We had to buy a new battery for the car. I lost medical bc of a clerical error. I take medicine that costs without insurance 46$ a day. That's just the most important one. Because of my legs I'm not able to work. We've told you ALL THIS. Not to mention the audit, and the appeal for unemployment. Could imagine being that person, dealing with all that at the same time. Now remember you also have a angry land Lord and no electric bc all the money your making has to go to your significant others medicine. BUT we'll all this is going on. The eviction notice, the meetings with Liheap for electric. The grandmother having a kidney removed,at a hospital in Bloomington. The husband who was the bread winner unable to work, who now has a rhuematologist,a orthopedic doctor, a infectious disease doctor, and a cardio vascular doctor with appointments to them ALL! Oh and now are last cars battery gives out.forgot bout that. Now you got all this stuff going on,but you still show up to work, everyday, late a couple times, but your there everyday, and with a smile. Making your restaurant the number 1 priorty, wanting to please you,to show you she not a quitter. And you knowing allll these things going on. Knowing she needs EVERY PENNY! KNOWING SHE'S GIVING YOU EVERYTHING SHES GOT!Cut her down to one day.....And you can't even give her enough respect to give her the true reason why. Sure I'll but your training new girls for the summer. But if that is true. Why is it only she's sitting with one day! And even if that where true. How dare give a new employee more hours than a person that's been in the trenches with You! No sir I'm not buying that. You owe my wife an explenation, she's warned that. Oh AND BY THE WAY I'M NOT IN JAIL. I CAN'T BELIEVE THE STUFF YOU DRAMA QUEENS MAKE UP. I'M INJURED! You know my wife has no clue I'm writing this. But even if this costs her the one pitiful day you have her.so be it. You don't deserve the kinds class she is. Ismet I'll pray that you never have bad times, and that if you do.the people in your life show you the understanding, compassion, and integrity...

Read moreBeautiful clean family owned restaurant has open dining areas with lots of light. The food is hot & flavorful. The menu has plenty of selections without being overwhelming and is reasonably priced for the area. The waitstaff works with one another when busy, so you have someone checking with you if you need anything. My husband and I love their fried chicken, but we have had many opportunities to try different items from the menu and have enjoyed each one. The restaurant has 3 separate dining areas. There is a diner area complete with counter and table seating and separate gaming area. You never hear gaming while relaxing and enjoying your meal.On the opposite side is a large, bright, open dining area with plenty of table and booth seating. There is a smaller open dining room that can be used for private gatherings, birthdays, breakfast groups etc. 4 Star is our go-to place when we want to sit relax and have...
